⭐Research Ideas for the Classroom: High School Mathematics was a lifesaver for me. I began working on my PhD in Mathematics Education this summer by taking a 4-week Introduction to Research course. I needed some ideas for a research project so that I could complete the class assignment on writing a research proposal. I found this book in the university library and it quickly became a constant companion during the grueling 4-week workout. The articles in the book varied enough to give me the big picture of mathematical education research and specific enough to strike my interest on various issues. When the course was finished, and I had to return the book to the library, I crossed my fingers and hoped that I could find it on Amazon.com. Fortunately, they had it and now I will have my own copy to refer to as I complete my studies. I highly recommend this book for any teacher that is considering doing research in a mathematics classroom.
