User’s Reviews

Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐One of the best monographs, guides, textbooks and handbooks on the subject. The author masterly presents the subject, leads and guides a reader from topic to topic. With his pedagogical masterpiece, he concentrates the reader’s attention on the subject and do not try to demonstrate how smart he is.With his wide and comprehensive knowledge of the area, he covers all contemporary topics of the subject in a best way.

⭐I came across Hua’s book by chance and I am charmed by it. It is similar to Hardy and Wright but goes deeper. It also has material that is not in Hardy and Wright: Sierpinski’s estimate for the number of lattice points inside a circle; trigonometric sums; a formula for the number of consecutive quadratic residues modulo p; an asymptotic estimate for the partition function; the class number formula; an introduction to tauberian theorems and Ikehara’s proof of the prime number theorem; and an introduction to p-adic numbers.
