⭐This is a brunch of the mathematical learning theory. This book is not a comprehensive review, just one approach. There are dozens of publications of prof. Jean-Claude Falmagne and Jeal-Paul Doignon; this one seems to be the essence of their approach. At first sight, it looks very ‘mathematical’ , but it is easy to understand the concepts behind. The print is good. I can recommend it for those who study leaning theories in-depth.

⭐Excellent, well written book that puts adaptive learning on a solid foundation. While it’s geared for an R&D person – it is well written with plenty of examples and motivations for application in developing and improving existing or envisioned adaptive learning systems. Well done!
