⭐Need something to while away the time standing in line, on a long car ride, dinner conversation? This book makes math concepts fun, and really math is fun – if you approach it like a game. We’ve had a tremendous amount of fun with this book, and now my child’s friends ask to play the math games when they come over. Want to spark your child’s interest in math and get them thinking about numbers in a whole new light? Mr. Stewart’s book is totally the ticket.

⭐I do love Ian Stewart and this book does not disappoint. I would however warn that the title is a little misleading. It is not a puzzles and problems book like his “Cabinet of Curiosities.” “Hysteria” dedicates each chapter to a larger problem and tells the story of that problem. Still awesome as per normal Stewart, but not what I was expecting.

⭐The product itself is decent thought thick reading. However, when I received this book it had brown stuff on the cover that I had to wipe off and the first 2 pages had pencil markings. Otherwise fine.

⭐I loved the mix of serious maths with fun problems and a side commentary

⭐This was a Birthday present and it pleased the recipient!

⭐The author tries to explain with simple words complicated and sometimes frightening matters.

⭐A very good book, teaches you a very good understanding, and has some subtle humour I like it a lot, would definitely recommend!!!!!
