Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:
⭐Ok. its a book for dummies so that in itself. This book does have some good information but repeats itself often seemingly in an effort to fill the book. Menopause For Dummies did not need to be this long, Seems as if the duplications of information were removed the book would be two thirds smaller. The nice thing is that you can pretty much open to any chapter and find information that may be useful.
⭐I read the entire book after purchase. I was just starting perimenopause and wanted to get an idea of what to expect. It was informative and easy to read. But as I began to experience symptoms, I began looking back to certain sections for information and guidance. It was my bible! And very helpful
⭐A must read to fill many gaps doctors don’t have the time to explain. It’s an excellent book. It’s extremely useful, detailed and easy to read. The information is very well organized and it’s full of practical advise from the simplest to the most complex. It goes very deep into technicalities although they are marked to skip them in case you are not interested in so much info. And I like the touches of humor spread all around the book that make a not-so-much-fun theme and enjoyable learning.
⭐I get it that it is for Dummies but It was way oversimplified without enough substance in the effects on mental health section. Dissapointed
⭐The structure of this book is designed to allow readers to jump around and only read sections that interest them. As a result, information is repeated over and over again. The book could be half the length without losing any information. That said, the info is helpful and easy to understand.
⭐Attention Ladies!!! This book is for those of us that don’t want to talk to every one else about their so called menopause crap!! It makes it so easy to understand what we may be going through or not going through!!! I highly recommend this book !! I read it cover to cover the first day!!
⭐a gift
⭐Good book. It help me understand what I am going through.
⭐Bought as a gift for a work friend who is starting to get a little overwhelmed with all things menopause. Decided we’ll leave it in the office and use as a communal reference book, as there are several of us at varying stages. Some interesting facts, quite serious in parts but light hearted in others.
⭐I found this book extremely helpful, it explains things in a way we can all understand with some very good advice and pointers on where to get help or how to help yourself. I have found the gained knowledge and understanding has helped me to be more relaxed with regards to the menopause. Although I have not yet read everything in the book, I have certainly taken steps to improve my lifestyle. If you’re ready to except the truth about the menopause and want some help with some of the downsides then this is for you.
⭐Every woman should read this. I bought many books on the menopause and this one was the best by far. I have recommended this to all my friends whether menopausal or not.
⭐Arrived in excellent condition and on time. A good read for people like myself who know nothing of what’s to come imminently
⭐Don’t read it it will give u really bad idea s especially if u r like me diabetic my dr was horrified when I told him it’s typical American rubbish
