⭐this book is better than other Mathematical Statistics in explanation.

⭐Good

⭐This is a good upper level statistics text in terms of the content it covers and the order in which it is covered. Good for an undergrad mathematical statistics course or even a first year graduate course. The downside of this book is honestly the unprecedented amount of errors in the wording and sentence structure of the practice problems (some of which are nonsensical).

⭐Excellent, excellent statistics book. I used it in my first statistics course in Undergrad, but this course had all of the proofs and detail you would expect of a high level book. Everything was explained very well, almost too well at times, but this book is a gem.

⭐The book itself is intact, but the hardcover and the book part are unbinded. Also, the hardcover is chipping.

⭐While I can’t rave about the book’s actual content (economic stats are pretty dry), the shipment was quick and the book was in great shape.

⭐I had to purchase this math statistics book for a college course. It is the worst book I have ever had to learn from. There are very few examples of each subject so if you don’t understand one example there is not another one to fall back on.The book also refers to material earlier in the book without referencing where that material is from. It is quite frustrating to search through the entire book just to find the one spot something is mentioned three chapters earlier that you need for a current problem.The questions after each chapter often do not match up well with the material that was just covered in that chapter. Sometimes they are on unrelated content from the chapter before, and on a few occasions they cover material that is discussed in the following chapter you have not read yet.It feels to me as though this book was written by someone who does not know how to teach math well and therefore would only be used by someone who does not teach math well.If this is the assigned textbook for your math statistics course then prepare to seek outside help often.
