Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐This book was a good effort but frankly was way too basic for all but the most novice of riders. There was very little useful information in the book and I am disgusted that I spent nearly $14 for info that I could readily find on Youtube or a host of other places. Sorry – this one is a waste of money.

⭐Very little in the way of usable information of the techniques of riding or safety. Way more fluff, e.g., how to dress the part, how to act, how to be cool. Virtually useless. Better World Books (source of my copy) sent me a book that had, and I’m being optimistic, “water” damage.

⭐I was hoping to learn maintenance and driving tips but this was all very generic history, types of bikes, gear etc. that wasn’t anything helpful

⭐Although this book was last published almost a decade ago (2008), the information is outstanding, especially for the beginner or novice rider. In fact, the information, tips, and suggestions are so good, even experienced riders will pick up a thing or two. Highly recommended as a first look into the exciting world of motorcycling!

⭐This book was recommended to be by a mentor who got me into motorcycles. It is the best decision I made before taking a course or buying a bike. If you know nothing about motorcyles and curious if you should pull the trigger, I feel like this answers all the questions you could have including the culture, style of bikes, and insurance options to consider. Anyone who asks me whether they should get a bike, this is the first thing I recommend to them.

⭐Want what I was hoping for. I love for dummies books. But this was mostly common sense and vague instructions on how to do repairs. I donot recommend. Just take a safety course and you’ll be set.

⭐I bought this as a gift for a friend who is getting into motorcycles. He said that the book was pretty basic, but good for a beginner. Which makes sense because the book is motorcycling for dummies and the for dummies series is basically just a for beginners series. Anyway, if you want something more technical this isn’t it, but for the basics this is good enough.

⭐This book is a complete waste of paper. Take your state DMV book and add a sales guide, that’s what this is.

⭐I bought this book as a gift for a friend learning to ride a motorbike, it’s a great gift.

    ⭐Gift

⭐made a good present.I really like series for dummies and I hope that I’ll be very useful for my beloved biker

⭐Ist ein Buch eher für amerikanischen strassen und Fahrer. Auch etwas altes Datum.Sonst nettes Buch zum lesen. Hat mich etwas geholfen mit dem Moto Lebenstyle aber nicht zu viel

    ⭐Not found.

⭐Great idle reading .It’s like a synopsis of many bike magazines .Well worth the money. D.A.
