⭐When I use multivariable analysis as part of my work I use this reference to guide my processes. I enjoy the question format on the table of contents to quickly find how to answer common scenarios. I only wish there was more info on regression diagnosis for when suspected problems arise. But then how would biostatistians make their living?

⭐Its ok. If you want a short concise intro to multi-variable analysis and you are not in charge of any serious study, go for it. If you are a clinician, only beginning to understand the field of statistics (and want to get an idea of what you are reading in science papers), this is more than a great start. But do not use this book for any deeper topic. I found some of the information (on handling missing data) a bit “off”. I had to compare to other, more exhaustive statistical books – the guidance there was different. They warned against some recommendations provided in this book. I know this is a work in progress and it saved many from being completely frustrated with methods seemingly so complex. I enjoyed starting here. But … it turned out I needed to move on, eventually. 🙂

⭐This book is for people who want to do complicated statistics but who have never been taught advanced maths, and feel nauseas when there are too many equations. Practical and simple without compromising on content.
