⭐I am a college student absolutely struggling in the first semester of organic chemistry. After bombing the first exam I found this book while researching study tools and problem practice. By working through the chapters in this workbook as they related to my professors lecture chapters I improved my exam grade for the second exam by over 20%. If it weren’t for this book I would be retaking Organic Chemsitry 1 in the spring. Explanations of processes and answers are clear and straightforward. This book is a life saver to those who are not chemistry inclined (like myself).

⭐If you are struggling applying the basic concepts of organic chemistry, then this book is for you. It has plenty of exercises, together with solved examples and explanation, also detailed solutions to each and every exercise and a lot of space for writing of the answers and the way. This book really helped me surviving this complicated course and is highly recommended.

⭐Ordered for my college kid. These books are a great way to preread for a class. They give a thorough and fast knowledge of the material. They are invaluable as a means of filling in the gaps left by many textbooks. I highly recommend students working through the dummies books and the workbooks before taking the class. It really really helps with boosting grades.

⭐Excellent addition to any Ochem textbook! I worked through these problems first after reading each chapter of the text as there are nice step by step instructions and explanations on how to solve each type of problem, as well as shortcuts and essential things to look for. I strongly believe that this was a key part of me getting an A in my class. Highly recommended!

⭐This book is a great supplement for Organic Chemistry. The problems are not easy but they aren’t difficult either. It is a good practice to help solidify your knowledge and give you confidence.

⭐This is a ‘bundled’ review for three items:’Organic Chemistry I For Dummies [Paperback]”Organic Chemistry I Workbook For Dummies”Organic Chemistry II For Dummies’I read most of the ratings for these, and then purchased them for my daughter for her second semester organic chemistry, since the first semester was such a struggle for her. She says they are helpful, and she also uses them as a reference to get a perspective on a topic that is different than what the professor may have presented in class. I know it was a gamble when I purchased them if she would use them at all, so I was pleased that she does and so it was worth it!

⭐It was ok, my organic chemistry class was a little more complex, than some of the problems covered in the book. It’s a good start, but don’t expect it to help much more than that. I may have gotten one of harder professors though.

⭐GAMSAT Prep – useful for timed practice.

⭐Obscure, badly written and full of the usual “dummies” jargon.

⭐It’s pretty good I really like it 8/10

⭐Great book that thoroughly yet concisely explains the topic in a readable manner.

⭐If you are taking a medical type course and they are teaching the chemistry at too fast a pace for you, BUY THIS BOOK! It is essential, I would be screwed without it! Best book I ever bought.
