⭐The greatness of our age is that philosophical books of such high quality are still published; the triviality of our age is that the day laborers of public comment search through hundreds of pages of philosophical explorations that bear comparison with the best of Plato, Aristotle, and Nietzsche, with whom these explorations are often directly or indirectly engaged, in order to find occasional flashes of all-too-human anti-Semitic opinion that unites Heidegger with the worst of his historical era. That they publish only the latter while ignoring the former confirms the ancient wisdom of Heraclitus that asses prefer straw to gold. Not for beginners, but If you are drawn to Heidegger, buy this book, and the whole series.
