Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐My initial impression as I skimmed this book was not that great but as I began to read closer I found it to be an excellent source for understanding and learning Portuguese. I have been using it in combination with Duolingo and am finding it to be very helpful. So glad I have it!

⭐I’m trying to learn another language and pick this book because it seemed like a good place to start. My favorite part about this book was that everything in portuguese was spelled out phonetically as to help out with Pronunciation. Now I am the master of this language and all that encompasses it. Okay, that last part was an exaggeration. This book does give you a good idea of the language itself but shouldn’t be the only source if you are really wanting to be fluent in the language. If you are taking a trip and just need to get by, then this is for you

⭐I have not finishe d reading it, but so far I like the detailed info I am getting. It does its best to simplify Brazilian Portuguese. It sounds the word out ina easy to read way for example. Onde=Where Sounds like ON-JEE. In Portuguese De sound Like the english letter “G”Well i hope to learn more as I continue to read it. It is a good investment but I wouldn’t relie just on this book. Use it with other tools.

⭐This is a better option for those of you taking a look at Brazilian Portguese for Dummies. Do not take this as a supplement – it covers essentially the same material in a more concise format. Brazilian Portuguese for Dummies essentially takes this phrasebook and stretches it over approximately 300 pages, adding little extra.Keep in mind that this is in no way a good tool for learning the ins and outs of Portuguese, it is simply a phrasebook, probably best suited to someone spending a week in Brazil on vacation. It didn’t suit my purposes, but for what is it meant to do it is solid enough, and the price really can’t be beat.

⭐this is really good as like a guide to learning Portuguese, but definitely wouldn’t rely on just this. its great to keep on you for a quick read or for help.

⭐Got it for boss for an upcoming trip to Brazil. Unfortunately he forgot it when he went!!

⭐This book had too much information for what I needed. I only wanted to learn some phrases and words in Portuguese. Not the whole language.

⭐I found this book very useful for any common situation while visiting Brazil. My only complain is about the pronunciation for letter “r” in the middle of a word. It describes the sound as “dh” (it’s not even close to that sound, but maybe for an American ear sounds that way).It is a very easy and fun book to read.

⭐… the book is based on Brazilian Portuguese and therefore no good for European Portuguese (which I wanted it for). This should be made clear in the explanation

⭐The book should clearly show on the cover that it is Brazilian Portuguese and not Portuguese spoken in Portugal.

⭐I want to learn European Portuguese this is mainly aimed at Brazilian Portuguese

⭐Very good for a basic understanding of Portuguese which is a far from easy language to learn!

⭐Excellent productVery professional service would definitely use againThe product is extremely well made the quality very goodThey have supplied exactly what I had Oder and delivered within the delivery time stated when I place the order
