⭐Wonderful exposition of quantum mechanics from a rudimentary level to introductory chapters on field theory (mainly relativistic quantum mechanics). The material is lucidly explained (and nowhere as terse as the Landau series and some Soviet-era physics text) and steps are worked in detail for greater clarity. The examples are few, mostly gathered at the end of chapters, but nonetheless instructive. The examples are not plain application of results from the text, but require some measure of analysis and mathematical steps to arrive at the final answer. I primarily read chapters on the relativistic part while following the Quantum Electrodynamics (QED) text by the same author, and both these books together were greatly helpful to comprehend the central ideas of QED.
