⭐This book covers mostly matrix representations of finite groups.Substitution groups and Klein groups are not covered ,but I was pleased to find a good definition of Module and a good introduction to the use of characters.I bought it for a reference and for future study.It isn’t what I would call a math book for the faint of heartor for beginners. More of a math majors and graduate text.for science students of quantum groups.It also lacks a bridge to classical Lie Algebra theory.Looking for a coverage of Clifford algebra and quarternions?That is not here either.What made want to change this review is the last group decomposition of groups into vectors that helps withideas of group representations from Cartan matices tovector elements and the symmetric/ alternating two element matrix generators.

⭐L’étude des permutations débouche immanquablement sur la théorie des représentations. C’est plus facile de travailler avec des matrices liées à des groupes par FroBénius.
