Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐First of all, I really liked the concepts and techniques presented by the book. The layouts are very clean and easy to digest the concepts with its easy-to-read-and-follow text styles. Other than that, the book could’ve improved upon its ‘Practice’ sections throughout the book, or create a whole separate book for the practice sessions. The book asks you to keep track of your progress by self-calculating words-per-minute daily…. but it’s super frustrating if it doesn’t directly give you ‘Total Words Count,’ from the beginning, in which indicates that it expects you to find it out on your own… individually. I didn’t bother counting total words given in the practice article reading sessions because every article given is completely different, and it’s super waste of time for me to count them. Thus, I only do the reading on my own, as fast as possible, while doing the given comprehension practice questions. I would personally venture out to purchase other books, WITH WORD COUNTS, for further personal checklists.

⭐First book for Dummies and probably the last one I’ll ever buy. The pages are so thin that you can see through them and the lettering on the other side of the page.

⭐This book is amazing! Not gonna lie, I expected to see results right away but just like any other skill, it makes time to master! I began reading more articles and books throughout the process and kept applying what I was learning and now I feel like I’m reading faster than ever! It makes reading so much fun and I can actually retain what I read now! I bought this book because a friend recommended it to me and I couldn’t have been more pleased!

⭐Great book I taught myself speed reading via an online program. It has helped me to reading thousands of educational articles when attending workshops and taking college course for my Ph.D. Add it to your library. Terrific hints and suggestions that I didn’t have back then.

⭐Love how it is formatted. Can’t speak on results yet but love it this far.

⭐Very happy with the simple to follow method this provides. Already seeing some results. Would recommend to anyone interested in reading faster.

⭐I agree wholeheartedly with reviewer Jonas: This book has far too many errors and oversights to be useful for its exercises.First, there is no “Cheat Sheet” in the beginning with pacers: I returned my original copy to Amazon merely to receive a second copy likewise missing the Cheat Sheet. So I contacted the publisher only to find a PDF download of the Cheat Sheet on their website provided since so many other readers had obviously been flummoxed by this ridiculous omission. The numerous errors and sloppy copyediting left it abundantly clear that this was a rough draft that was never actually reviewed by the publisher. I’m a big fan of the For Dummies series, but this book really doesn’t cut it.The only saving grace of this book is that the concepts are adequately reflective of the field of speed reading and are communicated clearly, which is apparently why reviewer Michael P. Naughton gave it five stars. Based on his review, I’m guessing he speed-read the book without actually doing the exercises. This book is fine if you’re just seeking food for thought, but don’t bother with it if you’re actually looking to practice and improve your speed reading. I’d kinda like to send authors Richard Sutz and Peter Weverka copies of

⭐as they certainly could benefit from it.

⭐I think this books could really work if someone would actually take the time to follow all of the steps and go through it, I just kind of breezed through it so I got out of it what I put into it, nothing. I think this would’ve ally be helpful for a child to help get them on track for studying

⭐good

⭐Seriously useful.

⭐Got what I expected out of it!

⭐FAST SHIPPING! AWESOME!

⭐very helpful!
