⭐ As a fan of Vince Flynn and Brad Thor books, Steven Leather “Spider Shepherd” books are a big disappointment. Save your money. Not worth your time.

⭐ This 2-vol. release is the perfect introduction to Spider Shepherd SAS…and Stephen Leather, who deserves to be as well known in the USA as he is in the rest of the English speaking world. Leather is brilliant with dialog and snags the reader from the get-go. Start here or, if you’re already a fan, add to your collection. A great read.

⭐ Enjoyable read of short stories. Good background to Spider’s early days and adds substance to the future books and his setup in the forces and home life.

⭐ Stephen Leather’s Spider Shepherd series is great reading. I am a fan of Stephen’s writing style and how he tells the story to keep you interested from start to finish. This particular story takes us back to the beginning of his journey. Looking forward to reading the rest of this series.
