⭐The contents for each chapters are OK and up-to-date. The book fills up the gap between history and state-of-art/modern status. However, since it was written by several people, some contents are quite overlapped and it is not a systematic teaching/pedagogical scheme. Symbols are not united among chapters. Some chapters are well-written and informative while the others are verbose or difficult to understand (e.g, chapter 2). Some chapters are just like overview papers and it is quite easy to find much more well-written review paper on arxiv. It seems that the editor doesn’t put very much efforts on it, if compared to the excellent edit work of Data Analysis in High Energy Physics.
