User’s Reviews

Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐The book was really ratted and torn when I received it. Luckily all the pages are there so it’s doing it’s job.

⭐This book is set up to give debate style information from both sides of historical issues. The problem is that it is a college level book using articles written by PhD professors for other intended uses. I easily got an A in the course using this book but found I often had to read the material 3 or 4 times. The information contained is so dry and boring you find your mind wandering. The Pro and Con sides are primarily taken out of context from their original source so they do not always work together. I hated every moment of reading this horrible book

⭐my granddaughter needed the book for a testbook and was just what she needed

⭐I loved this product because I needed it for school and it was cost effective. there were no tears or any issues with it and I got it in a timely fashion. Great product! it def met my expectations. Also it was an interesting read. SHowed many interesting different points of view. really opened up my mind.

⭐I pity you if this is your required textbook. I am using it for my US History 151 class and I abhor this text. It has taught me nothing. The arguments tend to be long and redundant. Some of them are so poorly articulated (ex; Carlson’s essay on the Salem Witch Trials) that they cannot even be taken seriously. Furthermore, the amount of typographical errors in this text is laughable. Seriously, who edited this?!

⭐My college instructor required this book for class. It was hardly used. We only opened it like 3-4 times max in whole semester. The book is mainly just an agree or disagree on a certain topic, which frankly was a joke. We get plenty of this type of stuff in the media, why write a book with all this arguing? Our teacher had us choose a side, if she didn’t like the side you chose (the one you agreed with in book), she docked points on our grade.

⭐Good book, needed for class. Shipped fast

⭐When I first got this book it came beat up completely the cover was about to fall off and everything was basically ripped I fixed it up a little bit with one piece of tapeIt’s ridiculous I paid for this book to read and they gave it to me as if they were about to put it in the trash
