Editorial Reviews: Review “This amazing guide isn’t about how to barbecue your meat, but how to make your meat in a way tastier while you are grilling it, and I love it so much!! All these marinades, rubs, sauces fit perfectly to any meat. Especially, I like your recipe of Alabama White Sauce and rubs for each section – it’s really a symphony of tastes in my mouth!” — Daniel Wisener, meat cooking enthusiast “I bought it and have no regrets! This book costs more than the actual price and deserves more attention with all its amazing sauces, marinades, and rubs! My favorite one is the recipe for garlic butter. It just breathtaking when you eat your grilled meat with this butter. It melts in your mouth, and you feel all the flavor and taste of ingredients, and your eyes are already looking for another piece. Thank you a lot!!” — Randy Klish, picky meat eater “My grilled meat brings all my family to the yard, and I can’t enjoy it alone! Damn, it’s so delicious that anybody can’t wait to try it while I’m grilling another portion. Though not exactly the meat is the main star, but combo of meat with your amazing smoky bbq sauce is. You can also enjoy, don’t be shy! I don’t know how but you have created really great collection of taste boosters. I’m glad I bought this book and wanna recommend it to all who will find it!” — Terry Felch, BBQ enthusiast “I don’t understand people who don’t want to boost their meat with marinades or sauces aka they don’t have time on it. Dude, you’re grilling on charcoal grill, of course you have time! And they miss such an amazing opportunity to do it with your recipes or other ones. Really, for your peach sauce I will bite everyone, and not only for it! Bought few copies for me and my family! Thank you!” — Larry Campbell, grilled meat lover “Your section of vegetable recipes is incredible! I rarely see recipes for veggies in bbq books, and I glad you included it your one. They are the perfect garnish to my grilled chicken and tastes so delicious that my plate has more veggies then meat ))). This trick to drizzle your hot veggies with marinade is very interesting and works pretty well! Never seen it before, so thank you for sharing! Like your book.” — Janice Howard, food blogger “I always struggled with dry grilled chicken, but your book helped me to find a solution! Thank you so much because I don’t like beef or pork so much, and chicken is my only option hah. Now my chicken is so juicy and has an appetizing flavor, and it’s all thanks to your chicken marinade recipes! I tried some marinades before, but they didn’t taste as good as yours so thank you again!!” — Shirley Reed, Amazon customer “Lady, you beat my grandpa in BBQ! We bet that I will cook meat better than him and guess who is the winner! Yeah, it’s you! Your marinade and tips about wood made meat in a way tastier than my grandpa’s one. All my family voted for me not only with their voice but also with their eyes! Everyone was asking me to grill another portion with your Alabama style sauce. Great success, and it’s all thanks to you! Share my results with you.” — Heather Strome, barbeque enthusiast “With this book, I don’t need to deal with my fear of flights to go on an amazing vacation anymore. I can start such vacation on my backyard whenever I want! I always loved BBQ, but it was more of a restaurant pleasure for me before. I always thought that it requires some insane skills to organize. Maybe, there’s some truth in these words, but this book eases it up a lot!” — Albert Dimick “You amazed me with this diversity of marinades and sauces from your book! There are more than 10recipes for each section, and each of them is created to exact type of meat. Seriously, amazing job! I can’t even imagine how much time and effort you put in this book! On behalf of all of us who bought this book, I wanna say thankyou for amazing recipes. Keep going!” — Sophia Rivera, cooking enthusiast

Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐Nothing new in any recipe. Only thing that was learned was how to place sauce in plastic bag to freeze & then slice on food!

⭐I love cookbooks. I’ve written a few of the past couple of years, and I’ve been reading them like novels for decades. I love that modern self-publishing allows for anyone and everyone to publish cookbooks. However, I usually find myself exceedingly disappointed in the ones I review. I am happy to say this is not the case with this book! The typical flaws I see in self-published cookbooks are not present here, save two.The book is relatively short, but it is jam-packed with information and great-sounding recipes for rubs, marinades, and sauces for poultry, meat, seafood, and vegetables. By the way, I love that the author had a small section in this book for us vegetarians. The author has included many pictures, even in the introductory section. Each recipe has a photo. In one flaw in the book, some photos don’t seem to go with the recipes they are paired with. For instance, a photo showing a layered rub in a jar clearly has a green herb as the top layer, but no herbs are in the recipe. Similarly, a Cajun BBQ chicken rub recipe mentioned crushed red pepper, but none was seen in the photo. The other flaw of the book has to do with ingredient order. Longstanding tradition dictates that the ingredient list should be in the same order the ingredients are used in preparing the recipe. Where the instruction wasn’t just to mix everything together, the order of the ingredient list was often in the wrong order. The introductory material has some excellent information about different grills and charcoal, different meats, direct vs. indirect cooking—among other BBQ/grilling topics—as well as a troubleshooting section. My dad grilled every summer weekend… and I certainly saw some mistakes he made! The recipes seem to be taken from grilling/BBQ traditions in the US and around the world. I would have loved to have seen some recipe headnotes that told a little about these regional sauces. All in all, though, this is a delightful collection of sauces, rubs, and marinades that could allow you to grill almost every day of summer… and never have the same one twice!I received a free copy of this cookbook, but that did not affect my review.

⭐I really liked the variety of sauces, rubs, and marinades in this book. I personally, do not like sweet sauces or flavors on meat, so was very happy to find lots of recipes that had either very little or no sugar or other sweeteners in them. This provides us with a lot more alternative flavors than what we have been using for grilled ribs, chicken, and other proteins. Nicely written with lovely pictures.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

⭐I have tried several of the recepies now and I like them. Some of them I had to adjust for allergies, but that did not take away from the taste. I have tried some of the rubs, marinades and bbq sauses especially for chicken and I recommend this book for recepies.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

⭐I enjoyed the recipes in this book. The recipes that I tried in this cookbook were really easy and made really tasty BBQ. I really like using BBQ rubs, and this book has a large assortment to choose from.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

⭐So many different recipes to try in the future. Love books like this that give you a wide range of seasons for the same ‘category’.Can’t wait to do taste tests and see what works best for me.Received an arc in exchange for an honest review.

⭐i love barbeque so i love this book its beautifully.Done i love the pictures and the recipes.I will enjoy this book If you love to eat this has something for everyone. I highly recommend it.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

⭐This book provides more than recipes, it gives you practice tips to create the best BBQ runs, marinades, and such. Well worth it.I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

⭐Whilst the internals of the book have *some* useful hints and tips, and maybe a recipe or two, the overall quality of this book is its biggest let down. For the price tag of $30+, I was expecting far more than what appeared to be of magazine quality. To me, this is just a Women’s Weekly Cookbook from the 1980’s that you find in an Op Shop (or Thrift Store for my US friends) for 0.50c marked down from $2.00.If you MUST buy this, be VERY careful. Apparently, you can choose between Black and White and a colour option, and B&W is the default if you don’t select. To their credit, I did not read this in the description, but at the time of purchase I didn’t have an option (could only choose between paperback or Kindle). I have since looked again and the description claims you can select pre-purchase from the “Other Formats and Versions” tab, but this also only lists Paperback and Kindle. In short, the B&W version only lends credence to the 80’s cookbook vibe, and even goes as far to make it feel like a photocopy job.I purchased this to give as a Christmas gift, but I cannot in good conscience give this now as I am frankly embarrassed at its quality, and will look like the biggest cheapskate despite paying good money.I do not wish to take away from the work that the author has put into the book, but I cannot recommend it on its recipes alone, as even then, there is nothing in there that you need to run and try that you could not have simply found on Google. Most of the rubs are a standard rub (containing brown sugar, paprika and mustard powder) with one addition, and the sauces are about the same.Like I said, the biggest let down overall is its quality compared to its price. Save your money and wait for this to be on sale (at least 50% off) because there are simply better books, or websites, out there.
