Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐Very good exegesis of a morally repugnant book of the Christian Bible. First of all, my perspective is that of a life long Atheist. Comparative theology has always interested me & I wanted to become more conversant with a book that is considered critical to Christian religionists. I should be careful of what I wish for. I found nothing but revulsion at the descriptions of mass killing & death by a malevolent sadistic god. This is the god that Christians want to cozy up to? A god that initiates mass murder when his heavenly ego is piqued? Absolutely nauseating. It smacks of the sickening barbarism of the Koran which any secular humanist should find intolerable. I’m glad I read this interpretive book. If anything it reinforces my revulsion of the last two iterations of Abrahamic monotheism.

⭐Pastors or parishioner, you need this book. I taught a series using “Dummies”, plus several other resources. My goal was to lead my congregation to enjoy, understand, and use Revelation to see what is coming and share to gospel with others; to reduce fear and encourage faith in these last days.

⭐A thorough examination of the last book or the Bible from different perspectives. The authors provide great insight and information on how to approach this book.

⭐Exactly as described and arrived on time. I’m happy with my purchase. 🙂

    ⭐Very clear!

⭐Great help while you study the book of Revelation. I bought this to guide me in my study of the bible.

⭐An attempt to address this topic in a lighthearted and humorous manner, which generally fails, this book describes in rough terms the four different approaches to this book that Christian traditions have taken. It certainly is a cut above all the connect-the-dots and predict-the-future books about Revelation. It attempts to fairly represent all four of these viewpoints, but never really deals with the critical issues involved and assumes the reader accepts one of these four traditions. The author does not really grapple with criticism outside these lines, and therefore this is of very limited value for readers with no assumptions. There is some good historical background on the references and symbolism, but by seemingly ruling out the possibility that it is simply a book describing one man’s vision, the value of this work is limited.

⭐Enjoying this book in my bible study.

⭐I am still reading through this book. Haven’t finished yet – it is a big subject. But the book is very readable and seems, so far, to explain Revelation very simply. Great manual !

⭐Bought this as a gift for a friend who was having problems with timelines & order of events in this, often frightening & confusing book of The Bible. She was delighted with it & had thought it very funny that I had warned her that I meant no insult in choosing the gift for her(Given the title) She is very pleased with it & admits how helpful it is & would & has recommended it to others

⭐This is a good introduction to the book of Revelation. If you are a New Testament scholar, you will probably have a good debate with it. It is however, a good introduction to help assist with beginning to consider this interesting and difficult book.

    ⭐A good read

⭐An overview with all major interpretations covered showing their weak and strong points. Excellent primer on the most difficult book in the New Testament.
