Etruscan contacts, through trade, treaty and intermarriage, linked their culture with Sardinia, Corsica and Sicily, with the Italic tribes of the peninsula, and with the Near Eastern kingdoms, Greece and the Greek colonial world, Iberia, Gaul and the Punic network of North Africa, and influenced the cultures of northern Europe. ⭐So I’m doing some research for independent course I’m working on and I need some basic information regarding the Etruscan culture. I saw this on Amazon, it had good reviews, and it was within my text book budget, so I purchased it….What I didn’t realize was I was purchasing one of the most comprehensive and updated books we have on the Etruscans and the book itself is around 2 in thick and over 1000 pages long! If you’re looking for information regarding the Etruscans, you’re not going to need to buy any other book (and by the time you get done reading it, you’re not going to want to either…). Worth the price tag of $70!
