⭐This is what needs to be done. I couldn’t agree more that the current process of animal liberation is working at too slow of a pace. Meat-eating is still morally accepted as a “preference”. Uniting forces with other movements is an interesting idea that hadn’t been suggested before. Several weak movements together will have more lever, and a larger headcount (which matters so much), so we can reach that critical mass sooner and effect change. I highly recommend it.

⭐This book is a powerful synthesis of decades of critical social theory work. Erudite but extremely readable.It is a provocative bold analysis and I second Norm Phelps’ estimation that it is one of the most important works of our time.

⭐What a fantastic and important read— and for those of you complaining about the price, you can blame the publisher not Dr. Best as he has no control over that.

⭐Bummer…I guess the almighty dollar is more important to Dr. Best than liberation. With friends like this….. what a shame. Dr. Best it would have been better if you had not edited this book…. then some of the Essays may have been read.

⭐What’s with the price Dr. Best? $80? The struggle is real brotherman! I guess we are all crying all the way to the bank

⭐Why is this book so expensive? I’d love to buy it but I can’t afford an $80.00 book!
