⭐very good book, quick delivery.

⭐This is a complete and concise presentation of classical mathematical computation theory. As a student, I took a two semester course, taught by S C Kleene, covering this text. As a faculty member, I’ve taught the first third of the text at two universities. Outside of academia, I have used the understanding of classical computation theory (gained from this text) in work at Bell Labs and Fort Monmouth. More than any other single book, Hartley Rogers’ book has been the basis of my career. Modern, non-classical notions of computation (such as amorphous computing) benefits from a thorough understanding of classical deterministic computation.

⭐I found this book poorly laid out.If you find densely packed pages hard to read this is possibly the most intimidating book you could possibly look at.I often find text books a pain, but this book has less than single line spacing, poor indentation, small margins and a font that has eaten too many letters.

⭐It’s incredibly hard to understand how Amazon sells books with missing pagesI bought this book because I’m doing my bachelor degree’s thesis on theoretical computer science and this is THE book on computabilityFirst time it came with lots of missing pages and I thought “ok it’s just a problem, let’s return it”Second time it came exactly in the same condition!I just bought it again for the third time!I’ve lost lots of time due to their lack of attention when packaging products.I’m buying from Mexico so I have to wait a long time before having the book. This is totally disappointing!————————Update 12/01/21I bought ths book three times and I never got a good item.Totally disappointed.

⭐Perfectly packed. Reprinted new book. Nothing more to say. Good reference book in computability theory for theorical computer scientists. 🙂
