⭐ The Good: An excellent story, showing good use use of the technology they have available. Also of how politicians of any stripe want power for just themselves, and how they act to try to maintain it.The Bad: some spelling mistakes, incorrect words, wrong words, wrong character names used, plus the usual mix of homonyms. This book is better in that it does not have as many of them as usual, but there are times when it is very annoying to have the character’s name change. Especially when you know that they are on 2 different planets.This just needs a good proof reading by a beta reader to list any faults/queries for the author and take it up to 4 stars or 5 stars

⭐ I really enjoyed the book. I think the pettiness of the politicians in this book is realistic but I wish it wasn’t. It hurt to see the soldiers treated so baldy by the politicians. I didn’t let that take away from the book but it really pissed me off. Overall I love this series though and will be reading more by books by this author.

⭐ For the whole series: this is non-stop action from the first to the last. The characters take on life, the end is satisfying and all the loose ends are gathered together. The price per book is reasonable. The author needs someone good to check on English errors. If you’re an English major you might not be able to stand it! I just glossed over the errors as I read. Good reads well worth the price.

⭐ This entire series is a rollicking good yarn. Its a pretty typical.space opera with a few unique quirks. The only thing that made me give it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the quality of the editing. I understand that its a self published work but the editing is so bad it makes it seem as if English is not the authors first language. All the books in the series could benefit from a good proofreading and edit. Otherwise its a fun tale in the vein of Bio of a Space Tyrant. I was sorry to see it end.
