⭐Written so mortals(like me) can wrap their brains around the pearls of Olympus. Masterfully broken down into bite size pieces. (The rest I can have my granddaughter explain to me). Must have and keep this book close at hand.

⭐I love this book so much – I did not realize how many physicists challenged Einstein. I could not understand some of the physics but the story can still be followed.

⭐Decent “layman’s” level of explanation regarding GR and its implications and impact on the world of physics. Einstein certainly was right, and Professor Will makes sure we all can understand why.

⭐I bought this book because I have the first edition and wanted to see the additional data and experiments since the first book in 1985.The first book was nicely printed with excellecnt type and centerfold pictures. The writing style is very educational.Unfortuanately, thois edition is shoddily printed. The type is blurred, the paper cheap, the pictures look as though they were produced on a cheap copier

⭐”Was Einstein Right” is the first book (out of 37 on relativity which I own) that I offer someone interested in learning about Einstein’s theories. It is interesting, clear and to the point. I have re-bought this book three times, as my copies are lent out and don’t always make it back! haha I don’t blame them!

⭐An excellent survey of the state of experimental tests of relativity from about 20 years ago. The explanations of the theory and experiments are simple enough to be understood by the general reader but do not over simplify the genuine complexities. A genuinely useful book – it would be great to get an updated version

⭐Lots of useful background/ history & quoted results. My hubby thought it too ‘on AE bandwagon’ [like many others] & disagreed with CMW sometimes [especially when talking of Special, as opposed to General, Relativity]. Good intro’ for [even critical] amateurs.
