    User’s Reviews

Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐Very detailed account providing valuable information of an exceptionally difficult time in China. Some details do not appear in other works. Unfortunately her books are not well known today as she is a real expert who writes from first hand knowledge.

⭐If you want an accurate picture, instead of the usual anti-mao hysteria, of Communist China in the 20th century, then I recommend you read Han Suyin’s 2 volume history of the Chairman. Her first volume, ‘The Morning Deluge’, treats Mao in his early days as the prophet armed; while the second volume–Wind In the Tower–deals with Mao’s years in power. Highly recommended.

    ⭐Arrived as advertised!
