Description

A sexy category romance from Entangled’s Brazen imprint…He controls the game, but she’s rewriting all the rules…Marley Lake is no stranger to awkwardness, but getting caught watching a dirty GIF by the company’s hot new IT guy exceeds even her standards. That is, until she realizes he’s as turned on by it as she is. But with a big promotion on the line, she refuses to let her current dry spell be her downfall. Maybe. Austin Rivers has no business lusting after the irresistible editor of Gamers Magazine. He’s a secret partner in the business-and technically Marley’s boss. One look at that GIF, though, and he’s ready to install a whole lot more than just software…as long as she never finds out who he really is. But reality’s not as virtual as it seems, and when Austin’s identity jeopardizes Marley’s promotion, he has to change his game or risk losing the only woman with the cheat code to his heart.

Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐4.5 stars — I read this series totally out of order and started with the last one first, and I remember being really startled at the immediate start into the steamy scenes! This time I was prepared, and so it made for a more enjoyable experience…I remembered what I was getting into with an Entangled: Brazen book. They’re like borderline erotica stories…short, not a lot of time for depth, and very very steamy. I think the right expectations can make for a much more enjoyable reading experience, you know?I LOVED both Austin and Marley. Marley was freaking hilarious. I loved her sense of humour, and how she seemed so light and fun. I feel like I don’t see that a lot…she was someone that I feel like I would enjoy being friends with. She knew how to inject happiness into so many moments. I absolutely loved her relationship with her brother, Chad; the two of them together made me laugh so hard. I also appreciated how dedicated she was to her career, and how important it was to her, but how it had inadvertently impacted the rest of her life. It was nice to see the challenges of a woman in a male dominated field addressed from the woman’s perspective.Austin was just so awkward and adorable. I appreciated that while Austin was typical fictional hero hot, he was believably awkward in groups and shy and introverted. I felt like we were given enough of his backstory that I understood his vulnerability and reluctance to trust, but it still grated on me a bit. His relationship with Sydney really surprised me, in a good way. I also loved his friendship with Grant, and I liked that they got a scene to resolve some of the obstacles in their relationship, and Austin was given the opportunity to see how he was hurting Grant by not trusting him.The chemistry between Austin and Marley was smoking, the steamy scenes were totally on point. Austin’s need for control in the bedroom was seriously hot. I loved that while it was very grrrr, there was also a lot of fun interjected at times. It was a nice balance, I tend to love those relationships the most.As a small g geek, I felt like the techy stuff was even pretty good, nothing too glaringly wrong. I’m not super great at the technology part, but so many times authors write things that even I know is unbelievable. But I believed the geekiness of our characters and loved that about them. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series. If they’re like this one, they’ll have a good blend of steam and fun. Basically perfect for those who like a little erotica with their nerdy romances.

⭐“Changing His Game” is the first installment by Megan Erickson and when I first read the blurb I was intrigued. Marley Lake called the IT department because her computer froze, but when a new IT guy comes down and helps and starts to go through her computer she quickly remembers that she was on her tumbler account. Unfortunately too late to let him know the dirty GIF that she’s re-posted a lot is right there on her screen. Austin should have stayed away and let another IT personal help Marley, but he couldn’t stay away from this siren of a woman. He thought she was a vanilla person who would want a normal relationship, but when he saw that hot and rough GIF on her tumbler account his opinion quickly changed. These two were drawn towards each other like magnets, but a relationship based off lies might just break the foundation. Will Austin be able to love her enough to let his past go or will the past win again?Marley and Austin were instantly likable characters and the tug and pull between them was amazing, but what I really loved was the relationship these two main characters had with their own family.Marley and her brother’s relationship had me laughing with tears streaming down while Austin and Grants banter reminded me of two old ladies dishing each other out. The relationships with the secondary characters was great, but Marley and Austin together I felt like it didn’t really go anywhere except the bedroom or whenever they were naked. I wish there was less sex and more heart to heart moments. Near the very end I started to enjoy because you could tell that Marley and Austin were deep in each other hearts, but in the story growth you couldn’t really see that. Overall I found the story alright, but I have to say that the secondary characters are the only ones that kept me reading. Chad was my favorite character. ~Tempting Sexy Thoughts

⭐This is probably one of the, if not the sexiest books I have ever read. So if you have ever met me, I blush, a lot. Its embarrassing and mortifying and I have no control over it, regardless of how many times I read sexy books…they cause me to become a tomato. So I am casually reading this book and literally 2 pages into the story I am blushing…and that just continues through the ENTIRE BOOK. It was a constant wave of steamy, sexy, tantalizing moments and I couldn’t put it down.So once you get past the ridiculous amounts of sex…I really enjoyed the story line. As a girl who loves video games, this was absolutely awesome and inspiring to see the heroine into video games. More authors should write characters like this and I applaud Megan Erickson for being bold enough to step outside the box. Megan also flawlessly captures the drive women need to have in industries predominantly male.Austin was drop dead brooding, sexy, darkness that I wanted to become lost in. Marley and Austin are like light and darkness and they balance each other out perfectly. I am dying to know more about secondary characters…Grant, Chad, Owen, I need these men more! Overall, the book was sexy perfection and I am so glad my friend convinced me to give it a try.

⭐I read these books out of sequence having read a recommendation from another author and loving the story so much decided to read the whole series. I am not disappointed, great read brilliant story will be reading the next book now

⭐I really enjoyed this book. I loved the nerdy humor and the premise. I found the characters, main and supporting, to be extremely likable. This book is a quick read and very sexy. Austin knows what he wants in the bedroom, takes control and wow, is it ever hot. What I loved about him though, was that outside of the bedroom he was incredibly sweet. I liked that he was flawed and that Marley could see his vulnerabilities. Marley was fun and quirky. She is driven and wraps herself in work, letting herself be more free when she’s with Austin. Sydney and Chad were my favorite supporting characters. Chad’s tech humor cracked me up.

⭐This was a great fun read between Austin and Marley and introduces you to characters for the next books. Both the main characters are not your run of the mill, and yet are so suited to each other. I loved the fun and just how connected the two main characters were, and how it reminds you that when you connect with someone it is on so many different levels when it is right.

⭐It’s wicked, witty and Marley and Austin are an unusual couple and their authenticity jumps off the page. Excellent read.
