⭐ This is the story of Alex & Zoe. Alex is a firefighter. Zoe was the director of a soup kitchen/shelter, which she started from scratch. She was also the daughter of Alex’s Captain at the firehouse. Alex was to do community work at Zoe’s soup kitchen as part of a reprimand for not taking orders a lot more than once. They try to resist each other, but to no avail. The attraction is too great. Alex needs to learn a few lessons in life. He is a risk taker, because you only live once. Zoe is not a risk taker, and has to learn that risks are worth taking. Love all the characters in this story, especially of course, Alex and Zoe. Looking forward to Book 2 in this series.

⭐ Kimberly Kincaid kicks off a new series with Reckless and I have to say that after inhaling and absolutely loving it, that I have no doubt that this book and the series will be hopping onto a lot of keeper shelves and become instant favourites. I totally loved this book and Alex and Zoe. Hello, firefighters, enough said!The characters, firehouse setting and storyline will feed your romance loving soul and will leave you feeling both happy that you’ve read it and disappointed that you’ve finished it and that the next book isn’t here yet. So she started the soup kitchen to make a difference. Lack of money and resources makes all the help she can get through community service all the more vital. But when Alex walks in the doors all she can think is why here. She knows he’s just biding his time and doesn’t really want to help. But he is just as sexy as she remembers and that is dangerous for the by the book chef.As the attraction grows and they can’t seem to fight it anymore, Alex genuinely cares for what Zoe is doing and helps in any way he can. ⭐ This was a fabulous book! I don’t usually read romances centered on firemen (that may now change) but I could tell the author really did her research and now knows her stuff about the world, equipment, lingo, mindset and understated rules of the firefighting universe.Both main characters were interesting and engaging with their obvious attraction, but separate obstacles to overcome.The author also has a fantastic way of turning a phrase or describing a look or mannerism that reads completely fresh and so very visual. Totally enjoyable read. A big five stars.

⭐ “Reckless” by Kimberly Kincaid is the first book in her ‘Rescue Squad’ series. I love this author’s work. She has just the right amount of real life, and romance that makes reading her stories enjoyable. When firefighter Alex Donovan goes against regulation and pushes an superior officer down to run into a burning building his fire Captain goes to bat for him and he is required to do community service. Captain Westin decides that Alex should work for his daughter Zoe’s business. Zoe runs a kitchen to help feed the poor in the community. Zoe the one person who is off limits for Alex….or is she?

⭐ Loved, Loved, Loved this book! Alex Donovan is just yummy and exactly the kind of guy Zoe needs to bring her out of her safe place. Zoe Westin has been around firefighters her whole life. The last thing she needs is a hot shot firefighter working in her soup kitchen but what choice does she have??? Alex knows Zoe should be completely off limits since she’s his boss’s daughter but this reckless risk might just be worth it!!Kimberly Kincaid is one of my go to authors and she does not disappoint with this one! It’s the start of a new series but has ties to the much loved Pine Mountain series. A great story and hot firemen make this one a must read! I highly recommend it.

But she needed to be a little reckless so he thought.They bickered and a contest or maybe a little dare was presented.Alex knew he had to keep his head on while doing the community service and that was all. So Zoe was off limits.He was focused to get back to his job at Engine 8. That was his life, and his family. Zoe’s dad stuck up for him when he needed it.Zoe wanted Alex, but she knew the score. See what happens between them.Highly recommend. Ms. Kincaid is amazing.

⭐ Alex and Zoe were thrown together not by chance. Alex a firefighter for into trouble and was suspended and put in community service for a month . Zoe who works for a shelter and his captains daughter. In the beginning it was tough because Alex didn’t want to be there and Zoe didn’t cut him any slack. But then they both felt attraction but for Zoe ,Alex was to risky and impulsive and she was careful chose no risk.Can two opposites meet in the middle and make it work? There will be risks but to make things happen you have to push past the barrier.This was a great read..

⭐ This is the first book in this awesome new series and it didn’t disappoint. This is Alex and Zoe’s story. Alex is a hot, daredevil firefighter and Zoe is a sassy, strong woman who is very by the book and lives life very safe. It’s true that opposites definitely attract, I loved how they both were there for each other. This was a great start to this series and I can’t wait to read the next book. There is nothing like reading about hot, sexy firefighters and the women who love them.

⭐ I devoured this book. Alex and Zoe’s chemistry and personalities drew me in and kept my attention. I loved watching the slow change in Alex, and also uncovering his views about being reckless and why he does what he does. Zoe was the kind of person I’d want to be my friend in real life with her grit, passion, and huge heart. I also enjoyed getting insight to the other firefighters in Alex’s house and I can’t wait to read book number 2!
