Description

He has nothing left to offer. She’s determined to show him how much he’s worth.

Shot by a member of his elite military team, Justin Lawson goes into hiding, cutting all ties with his girlfriend to keep her safe from the traitor who’s hunting him down. With his body shattered, he no longer has anything to offer her anyway.

Holly Walters refuses to accept her boyfriend’s out-of-the-blue rejection without an explanation. Intent on seeking closure, she tracks him to the Wiccan Haus. Once there, she is drawn to help him heal his broken body and spirit, even though she knows she has to let him go.

The rogue assassin catches up to them, but this time Holly is in his crosshairs. Before Justin can make her believe he’s a man worth fighting for, they’ll have to fight for both their lives.

“I’m not usually a fan of the heroine being the driving force and it totally worked for me in your book.” — reader Rhea Rhodan –This text refers to an alternate kindle_edition edition.

⭐ This book is truly my favorite in this series so far. The characters are amazing. And the story line is awesome!. These books have action, suspense, humor and steamy romance! . You will also find some amazing hot human and paranormal book boyfriends lol. In this book you will find suspense, action , humor, and steamy romance!. With this book we meet Justin a super hot special ops solider that fight rogue paranormals. But on his last mission some thing goes wrong. Now the army sends him to the Wiccan Haus to heal. He breaks up with his girlfriend Holly with out telling her why. But he has a surprise coming Holly is not ready to give up on him yet lol . So they both end up on the Island. Can Justin heal?, and can Holly win him back?. You will just need to read the book to find out 🙂 . But believe me this story is worth reading! . It is exciting and touching with a touch of humor and lots of steamy romance!. Sara Daniel is a fantastic writer who knows how to keep you hooked with her series lol.

⭐ With Justin’s knee shot out he may never work in the army or with the para elite teams again. Can the Wiccan Haus save what’s left of his knee or will he be incapacitated for the rest of his life. Oh, did I mention he threw away his love Holly in a text message while he was on his pity potty. Not one to take a text message blow off, Holly tracks him down to make him face her to break up. Once there, she finds the real reasons he broke it off.Finding out one of his team was a traitor, someone he trusted wasn’t easy and now both their lives are in danger as is Cyrus’s. Rekkus is an all out mess over that discovery.Come back to the Wiccan Haus for another beautifully told story.

⭐ I really enjoyed this addition to the Wiccan Haus series very much! Daniels creates a very likeable hero and heroine whose backstories are tantalizingly developed. She also brings in some new dramatic elements to the Wiccan Haus world, which I just love. Though short, this novella gets the job done narratively speaking, and I enjoyed the pacing of a shorter read. Sure, I’d love to see a longer book from Daniels where she gets into the world even deeper, but A Man Worth Fighting For fit easily into my crazy life and just whet my appetite for more! I agree with the previous reviewer in that I’d love to see these stories come out even faster in this series and am looking forward to the next books that are scheduled! Wiccan Haus is a fascinating world and Daniels brings an element of danger to it that made for exciting reading.

⭐ Each time I read a book from this awesome series I keep expecting to be slightly disappointed or blah. But so far each book has been a delight to read, another adventure with bad guys and the good guys winning. Not to mention the quirky characters in the Island or the Hero and Heroine who might dislike each other at first but inevitably they fall to fates call.I am forever a fan of The Wiccan Haus and the authors that bring the tales to life, thank you Sara Daniel for your tale.

⭐ This was wonderful, who says multiple people can’t work together to create something outstanding!! Looks like I will be a loyal follower!

⭐ This one is about visitors to the Wiccan Haus not employees. I wanted to visit with the others a bit more but these two were engaging enough. Both of them needed to figure out how to be loved. Worth the read.

⭐ This was a very fun easy read. Romance and paranormal aliens. What a mix! I loved reading this book especially at bedtime. It was very fun and relaxing!

⭐ This story is about Holly and Justin and how they were healed – as individuals and as a couple – at Wiccan Haus. If you’re not familiar with the Wiccan Haus series of books, it’s an island off the coast of Maine and is a combination of a spa, healing colony and hotbed of paranormal activity. In other words, it’s an interesting place to be, and to read about.I really like Holly. She is so much stronger than the thinks she is and that strength radiated from every page. She just needed to discover it.Justin? Justin started out as the typical “I’m a man, I’m injured, I don’t need anybody and I don’t deserve them because I’m not whole” guy. Fortunately for both Holly and him, Wiccan House (and Holly) helped mend his broken spirit, which helped heal the rest of him. While Holly and Justin are human, other paras are woven throughout the story and you get a good taste for the ambience of Wiccan Haus. With the addition of the subplot (betrayal, attempted murder and more) this book held my rapt attention from start to finish.I adore character-driven stories (which is what a romance should be) and HEAs. I got both with A Man Worth Fighting For.

⭐ I was given this book for free in exchange for an honest review. As I’ve said before, I always give honest reviews whether people appreciate them or not. This is the republishing of the second book of the Wiccan Haus Series now from Decadent Publishing. Wiccan Haus is on an island off the coast of Maine and it is magically protected with a thick fog around is, and a magical boundary beneath the surface as well. It’s kind of a paranormal spa yet they do have regular humans go there also.We begin this story with Justin in the hospital recovering from surgery. He works for one of those government, über secret, not quite Special Ops teams. They work to take out rogue paranormals. One of his team members comes in for a visit and tells him his wound, gunshot not arrow to the knee, was friendly fire. As you can imagine, he was a little freaked out that one of the men he trusted wasn’t worthy of that trust. Now he wasn’t quite panicking, but he wasn’t exactly calm about things, especially since his doctor had just told him he’d have a cane and a desk job. His teammate convinces him to go to the Wiccan Haus for his recovery, he text messages his girlfriend saying they were through. Nice.Que the girlfriend: Holly is stunned when she receives his text. She tries calling him back but his cell line was disconnected. Because of the secrecy of what he does she has no idea how to contact him. Frankly, she’s distraught. She thought they really had something. So, one way or another, she wants closure. Holly remembered Justin mentioning the military base that he considered his ‘home base’ and kept calling until she reached someone who would give her at least a shred of information on where Justin was. She found out he was at Wiccan Haus and made reservations to go. Poor woman had no idea paranormals existed, had no idea she couldn’t use her cell phone or laptop on the island and really wasn’t into all that ‘woo woo’ stuff like tarot cards and witchcraft.I have to say, Justin is very alpha male in his attempts to protect her as well as investigate who was behind his injury. Holly is having nothing to do with that attitude. She wants explanations from him about what happened to him and why he broke it off with her. The first time I read this story I thought it was good, maybe a four star. Now that I have read the republishing I will admit I was wrong. Ms. Daniels gave us an excellent story. I loved how Justin and Holly had incredible chemistry and how Justin just couldn’t stop thinking about her, touching her and just being with her. He does try. The person who shot Justin hunts him down at Wiccan Haus but also tries to take Holly down. I loved how Rekkus and Cyrus get involved. I really love this series and can’t wait for the republishing of the rest of the books!

⭐ Having read the first in the Wiccan Haus series, I came prepared to experience a blend of humans and paranormals congregating in a house of healing to soothe their hurts whether spiritual or physical. A Man Worth Fighting For delivers on both counts. There are the regular residents of the Wiccan Haus adding their charismatic characters to the story of course but more importantly, we have the story of a woman going after the man who left her with no warning and no explanation, a woman not willing to except things at face value.Sergeant Justin Lawson’s life in the military has come to a screeching halt. A bullet to the kneecap has ended his career and severed him from the only family he has ever known, the military family he has built with his specialized para military team. Feeling unworthy as a cripple and most definitely a threat to Holly’s life with a traitor after him, Justin sends her a cryptic text ending their yearlong relationship. “I don’t want to see you anymore. Sorry.” Eight short words to dash all of her dreams.Holly Walters has tried for three long weeks to run Justin down and get an explanation for his cryptic words, but Justin remains elusive. To rub salt in her wounds she has to deal with family expectations that she couldn’t possibly be happy without a man and children in her life. With one more failed attempt to contact him, Holly puts her tenacity to work. Calling the military base, she starts wheedling her way through the ranks in order to figure out just where Justin is and what is going on. Finally, she meets with a bit of success. Holly discovers that Justin is at the Wiccan Haus. Reluctantly, she heads to the island to get some closure.Things may be a bit rocky between the two but the chemistry that has always been there has not deserted them. It’ll take some doing to get past feelings of inadequacy, to heal the pains of the flesh as well as those of the soul. The journey is fraught with just a bit of danger and uncertainty. However, the magic that is the Wiccan Haus will prevail. This was a great story of just how far a gal will go for a man worth fighting for. I would recommend it to anyone who is into military or paranormal romance.I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.
