⭐Albert Casullo give a thorough treatment of the the subject of the a priori. Casullo gives a systematic approach to the major positions and issues involved with the a priori. This is not a book for the philosophically uninitiated due to its technical approach to the subject. But, if one works their way through this book, they will find that it was a rewarding pursuit.

⭐Casullo’s book is as systematic and rigorous as one will find in contemporary epistemology. The subject of a priori justification/knowledge is surprisingly complex, but Casullo’s analysis cuts to the core of the issues and lays out a clear path for future inquiries.His own arguments are interesting and powerful, but the greatest virtue of the book may be its standardization of the terminology, arguments, and approaches in a priori studies. His taxonomy of analyses of the a priori is a breath of fresh air for anyone who has ever read an article on the topic. Casullo has been working in this area for about 35 years and this monograph solidifies his expertise and makes “A Priori Justification” the new starting point for non-experiential justification.
