⭐This looks at air defence from a similar perspective as that of “Fundamentals of Spacecraft Design” for space craft design, which gives one a basic set of ground rules to follow and some equations if you are interested in modeling to some fidelity the interaction of the respective components. Finally, the references are rather useful if you are looking to dig deeper.

⭐This book provides excellent overview of systems engineering process for air & missile defense. It serves ably as a ‘check list’ for experienced practitioners as well as an introduction to the field. The book does a particularly good job of walking thru the kill chain and provides some key expressions and rules of thumb to aid quantitative back-of-the envelope calculations.
