You can easily find help in three sections called “Students Writing about Stories,” “Students Writing about Poems,” and “Students Writing about Plays.” New to This Edition: More sample student essays and writing prompts to help you with assignments, from start to finish.New Chapter One focuses on the “how-to” of writing and gives you a clear and simple snapshot of the overall process.Several chapters devoted specifically to your writing skills–broken down by genre (how to write about fiction, how to write about poetry, how to write about drama)Strong representation of multicultural authors adds depth and breath to your reading experience–which is to say, to your life. Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐Introduction to Literature,An (13th Edition) was priced right for my Freshman English I class, whereas the 16th edition was 15 times the price. Not a dime’s difference between the quality of one and the quality of the other.

⭐I bought a used copy and it was very used, but had the full contents (no ripped or missing pages, but had quite a few pages that are folded over and bent–like all the appendices) But I knew what I was buying and it came just as expected. Over all satisfied.

⭐I love this book! It is a text book, but it is so full of fabulous literature and tips on how to view it that it makes for a wonderful read simply for pleasure.

⭐I love this book because it has lots of complete works, like stories, plays, poems. So far, we haven’t used the book yet, but I’ve been looking at some of the stories on the mean time.

⭐book condition is good and i liked it. i will look forward to buy other stuff too…

⭐This Book had a few rips and markings in the book, but other than that it was an over all good book, and I could still use it for the class I needed it for. Thanks

⭐Saved a whole bunch of money buying online than local bookstore. A lot of good short stories in this collection, good reading

⭐Not a bad book for short stories and poetry but the pages are very thin and easy to tear apart on accident. Not a bad book for a required English class.
