Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:
⭐This book really simplifies card game rules.
⭐Like the book wanted to learn more cards games really like the book
⭐Didn’t think it went far enough into the nuances of the games to give you a solid start. Some games are very detailed and involve asking lots of questions to play effectively. You won’t find the answers here. You can find just as detailed rules of each game online.
⭐I am a beginning pinocle player (four players) and I didn’t find the book to be very helpful. I thought that if I “read” the rules etc that I would “get it”, but the book didn’t really get into enough detail. It covered two player and three player, but there may have been one short paragraph on four player. I put the book on the shelf and it may help with another card game down the road.
⭐Found this to be very helpful for card games that we haven’t played in a long time…refresh our memories on rules.
⭐Maybe I bought the wrong book but this one does not have a big diversity of games.
⭐HELPFUL
⭐Helped this DUMMIE!
⭐The writer clearly knows a lot about his subject but for those less well informed it takes a lot of reading to get to much guidance.
⭐I purchased this to supplement my knowledge on a couple of card games. Fits the bill perfectly.
⭐i like this its good reading and very help full
⭐Good book easy to follow
⭐Really clear explanations for the games and a good range of different kinds of game. We found it really helpful to have clear guides for games where we half-remembered the rules – saved a lot of arguing about which hand beats which in Poker!
