⭐ Dagger’s Hope by S E SmithScience fiction romance. Third in The Alliance series. I read it without having read the prior books in the series without a problem. An intriguing chapter in the middle included a time traveling trio with funny robots searching for Jane, that I can only assume are from a different series. I will be researching those characters because they added quite a bit of humor in the middle of a darker romance.Dagger, a Trivator Warrior was captured and is being used in a illegal fighting ring.Jordan, his destined mate, has spent years working on her computer skills getting to know his world. She uses those skills to track and rescue Dagger.Jordan is smart, computer savvy and determined. She’s loved Dagger since he and his brothers rescued Jordan, Jesse and Taylor from a difficult situation on Earth.Dark and sexy, this book shows Smith’s preference for strong females, fated mates, suspenseful situations and detailed (often virgin) sex scenes.Great frivolous entertainment.

⭐ Audible Editions!! EXCELLENT NAARTIONS!!I loved Dagger and Jordan!!Thought to be dead by the other Trivator Warriors Dagger has been captured and put in the Fighting Rings. As Dagger’s Amate Jordan has never felt or believed Dagger is dead. She finds him and goes out to release him from the fighting rings.They have a hot romantic adventurous story.Not 5 stars because sometimes the storyline felt disjointed like when they meet the Americans but turned out to be Canadians in space.Excellent Narration by David Brenan!!

⭐ I’ve been catching up on series books from various authors I’ve followed over many many years…I have to say in a few of them I have become disillusioned in how the storyline and characters were written lately and have removed a couple auto buys as a result of it.These are writers who are at the top of the food/book chain here.I was looking around and found this book (#3) in my not read stack and thought well maybe this one will be true to the story and characters I have come to really enjoy over the years when I discovered her by reading Tinks story and laughed so much I went and got all the other stories and bought the new series too.No not deep, thought provoking stories but humor, laughter, surprises, intrique, fights, loving and the unexpected.The worlds she creates are interesting, different but not stretching it, the different history’s, talents customs are believable in a sci-fi world and as happens at times I don’t spend half the story trying to figure things out.I enjoy reading about previous characters without story becoming confusing….I only found one spot that I couldn’t figure out the sentence but after a couple WTH moments I just skipped it.Glad to read some authors stay true to their world’s and not feel they have to do something so different with beloved H/ h that they become unlikable…I read to be taken away not feel like I need to take a shower after reading it…Please don’t mess with my friends in this galaxy…

⭐ I found this story when I read the first story of this series in a reading app and let me tell you, I was happy for stumbling my way here. This is such a great story and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This book had it all. A great plot, a hilarious pair of Canadian Frenchmen, an adorable little robot, a bad guy worth hating and a happy ending. Highly recommend you read this story as you will not be disappointed.

⭐ So first, I will mention that this book lived up to the wait. If you have read the rest of the series, then it is a treat to get Dagger’s story that has been begging to be out since the first book. Can’t wait for Saber’s story! If you haven’t read the other two, go read them first, you won’t be disappointed.Second, I read at a minimum of a book a day, so that is a lot of books. The mark of a good writer to me is that I laugh/cry with the characters and can’t turn the page fast enough to see what is happening. My husband says he can tell when I am reading a good book cause he hears me laughing/crying and he cannot get my attn! The biggest compliment I can give a writer is that their books go on my ‘read again’ list, for when I cannot find something new that appeals to me. S.E.Smith is one of 5 writers (well 4 now, since 1 of them ended their series) on that list, doesn’t matter which series, I generally read them all again when a new book comes out in any of the series. So do yourself a favor, if you haven’t read all of the series, try them out!!!!

⭐ Thoroughly enjoyed this story of Jordan and Dagger, and hope to read more of this brilliant series !!In this story Dagger is believed to be dead, but Jordan has been going over the lack of evidence, and thinks that she knows where she is .bLots of action and adventure from that point on , as well as adding new characters that I hope get their story !!!Amazing !!

⭐ After being REALLY disappointed in the Spirit Warrior and Twin Dragons books, I was hesitant to purchase this book. BUT, even though I was disappointed in the story, it was better then the two books mentioned previously. The flashbacks were a little annoying but I can see where she was trying NOT to rehash previous books using the exact text. But it still seems that she is trying to reuse too much material from previous books to rush books to print. The story was not well developed and seemed very shallow with an ending that felt very rushed. I agree with other reviewers that I would rather wait for a good story than pay for a mediocre one that was rushed to print for the $. Keeps going and I will find a different author to spend my $ on and I have really enjoyed her books until the last 3 or 4 titles.And I did not mention the typo’s or missing/misused words – grammar it NOT my strong suit but I will disagree with the reviewer that says there are little to no errors in the books. Even a grammar neophyte like myself found multiple errors in words, word use, and missing words just not so many that I would refuse to read the author.

⭐ She did. Jordan was told that Dagger was killed on a mission. Deep in her heart she knew he was alive and would do everything in her power to find him. Two years later Jordan finds Dagger in a fighting ring on another world.Dagger was kidnapped and forced to fight to the death in the ring. The only thing keeping him from going insane and losing himself are thoughts of Jordan. Then like something out of his wildest dreams he is rescued by Jordan (sometimes the best man for the job is a woman ). She and Dagger steal a starship as they run for their lives from a deranged mercenary that kidnapped Dagger in the first place.Dagger is determined not to be recaptured and protect his mate Jordan at all costs.S E Smiths books are full of action, romance and laugh out loud fun. Her heroes are the big out of this world men that are bought to their knees by woman that are not intimidated (by never letting them see them sweat)them. In the end, everyone gets a happy ending.

⭐ Dagger was a true warrior in every sense of the word. He and his fellow warriors went to earth to assist in restoring peace. They rescued three human females. Hunter who was one of warriors claimed the oldest of the sisters as his mate. Dagger felt that the middle sister was his mate but she was too young to claim. He and another warrior go on a mission and get captured. Their ship was stolen and destroyed which left two bodies in the ship. So Dagger and his fellow warrior were presumed dead. Jordan was the middle sister didn’t believe that and began her search. Dagger was alive and being held prisoner to be in illegal cage fights. Jordan with the aid of Dagger’ s brother went to search for Dagger. I enjoyed reading this book because it had been interesting to see who, what and how Dagger wins and survives. The story is not ending because they now need to verify that his fellow warrior Edge is dead, if not find him.
