Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐My local homebrew club has been lucky enough to have had Marty come and teach us on the off flavors that we sometimes taste in our homebrews, but don’t quite know what that taste is or how it got there. I learned so much at these seminars that I ordered this book. Marty’s easy to understand explanations and brewing insight make this a easy book to read and learn from.Even though I understand enough to be able to brew my own beer I aspire to brew the best beer I can. I think all serious homebrewers feel the same way as I do and this book can really help you tweak your techniques and understanding of the process to brew better, even if you have already been brewing for awhile. If you’re new to brewing or even if you’re just curious enough to see if homebrewing appeals to you, this book covers everything, from purchasing equipment to buying the ingredients to bottling and evaluating the finished product..This book would make a nice addition to any homebrewers library.

⭐Nicely written and easy to follow whether you are brand new or an old pro. There are several classic texts on home brewing that might be better written and more organized, but the new brewer should beware because those books tend to be out of date. There have been some recent developments, especially in the availability of special liquid yeast strains that can really bump up the quality of your beer. Advanced, high quality brewing equipment is also a fairly recent development for the enthusiast.Someone else wrote that brewing beer at home is not easy. I disagree somewhat–it is easy to make decent beer if you are careful with sanitation, but making superior beer takes a lot of practice and will require experimentation and a lot of reading and studying. This book can put you on the path and will serve you right up through the all-grain/kegging world.I have no connection with this guy, but check out CraigTube on Youtube for some really easy brewing instructions for the absolute dummy. Craig can get you started without the disappointment of sour batches.

⭐This book was great when I started out homebrewing because it made it simple and wasn’t weighed down by all of the extra information that you often find in other homebrewing books. It gets right down to the how to without skipping any steps. The book was easy to reference on brew day to find conversions and proper cooking temps and also helped with setting everything up prior to the cook so that I wasn’t scrambling to find and sanitize things in between tasks. Easy read with great information

⭐A very interesting and information filled book, especially for those of us aspiring to develop our brew-making skills! The book was easy to understand and helps to provide background info and history on the hobby of brewing.Although I had some help from some more knowledgable friends, I found this book to be a great reference for troubleshooting and adjusting your batches if they didn’t turn out just right.Even if your beer is not perfect the first time, you’ll still enjoy the fruits of your labor and I’m sure you will come back for more!!

⭐The For Dummies series is certainly a series worth investing in. I love the ease with which they convey their knowledge and break things down to a simple and understandable process that truly educates. This applies for Homebrewing as well. I have always been interested in homebrewing, but have always been daunted by the idea of how big the task is. This book helped not only inform me of all the various parts of hombrewing, but taught a wealth of information about Beer, Cider, and Mead. I highly recommend, especially if you do are just getting started in the world of homebrewing.

⭐I had not home-brewed for several years due to getting married, moving, and kids. Now I have the desire to get started again and this book was a good overview of the home brewing hobby. It helped my determine the equipment and type of brewing I want to start with – extract brewing with specialty grains or partial mashing. If you are new to home brewing or need a fresher (like I did) this a great place to start. I also appreciate the way that the “Dummies” books are layer out. It is not necessary to read it cover to cover – pick and choose the parts that are most important.

⭐If your at all interested, or even just considering brewing as a hobby….this book is a must! It takes all of the “scary” out of brewing and makes it seem simple. Author touches on every subject, even all grain, but does not go too in depth. Book even includes a good deal of recipes, one from just about every beer style. Can you read this book and brew beer? Yes, but I do suggest doing a little more research after this read, just to be sure your first batch is something to show off.Cheers!

⭐want to get into homebrewing and wanted some more insight as to what I was getting into. this was great and I can’t wait to get started.

⭐So, I’d just bought an all-grain starter kit and wanted a book to help figure out what to do with it. Unfortunately, a lot of the instructions in this book weren’t applicable to the setup I had, and the American imperial units weren’t helpful at all; you’re juggling enough things during a boil without also having to find a conversion app to figure out how many litres are actually in a quart. There’s recipes in there which might be interesting down the line but in the mean time I’m already looking at finding a new beginner’s guide.

⭐Arrived fast and at a good price

⭐Got every thing you need in here to get started best book l have out of my five homebrew books l will say this

    ⭐essencial reading for any brewer

⭐fine book at a good price
