⭐I was hoping for more detail and options. This is really aimed at folks with limited time who want to feel like they are being told what to see and do. For that it is excellent. I had hoped for the more typical Lonely Planet guide that has so much information that one has to pick and choose. That challenge is welcome to me.

⭐The format of this guide book is inefficient and hard to use. What do I mean? I much prefer a book that breaks down each neighborhood or area into highlights. Such as the best or most interesting restaurants, hotels or attractions. But this guidebook does non of the guiding by area. So that the reader has to read a chapter on the best restaurants in all of Tokyo. And then go about finding its location. Sorry but that doesn’t really help me in an quick way.

⭐We used this to find many great attractions and restaurants. Organized well and lots of great tips and suggestions.
