Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:
⭐I read it all the time. Just like other teachers. Consciousness is the thing to understand. Rupert Spira is the newest teacher I read. They all say the same thing. Know the one who is aware of being aware. Thats you.
⭐This is a life-changing book that awakens you to the magic, the mystery and the beauty of life and of relationships. I would wish everyone would read it. I am a university professor and I would like to make it mandatory reading for ALL of mys students and colleagues.
⭐A True understanding of what meditation is and is not
⭐BE WARNED!!!OSHO will challenge your every thought!!!These pages will change your entire outlook on life!!!Closing this book will leave you a different being!!!
⭐Seriously, ya done drank ALL the koolaid? If you take a closer look at Osho, a.k.a. “The Bhagwan”, you will find the history of a heroin abuser, sexual predator, and con man. Here we are, twenty five plus years after this “cloud” came out, and people are still dancing to the tune. Amazing. The parallels between Osho Worship and MAGA mentality are staggering.Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, as his name appeared on the original copy of the book (yes, I did actually read it) once ditched one of his 74 Rolls Royces (that is a Seven and a Four, not a typo), then sat in the car silently. This was in the vicinity of the Oregon commune his followers created back in The Day. When an off-duty police officer happened to drive by, he stopped and asked if the Bhagwan needed help; Bhagwan sat in his car, staring forward; he said nothing. The office hooked up a tow rope to his car and pulled it back onto the road, after which the Bhagwan drove away, without saying a word. You don’t believe he was a whack job? Google / Wikipedia / fundamental research.OK, so I am bashing the man (and his followers) … what about the book? Long, dreary, vaguely poetic, stoked with metaphors of rainbows and clouds (yet too early for unicorns) and how you can avoid conflict by acting like a cloud. If you are a committed opium smoker or heroin injector, this may be the book you need. The subtext, though, is a jarring reminder of the Real Life Bhagwan. That’s my advice for potential readers of this book … look at a picture of the book, then silently surf away. There are plenty of other forms of non-inspiration to be found from the likes of Deepak Chopra and his ilk, not to mention the army of fallen evangelicals whose ghost writers are some of the Best People. You’ll get more spiritual renewal from a quiet afternoon at the lake than you will ever get from this book or any other from this author.
⭐This book is an edited version of the “spontaneus discourses given by Osho in Lao Tzu House, Poona, India”. All the fifteen chapters in ” My Way” are replete with insightful statements and as a whole will lead to a very blissful life if followed. It is ironical that the man who exhorted everyone to drop their egos and become desireless didn’t follow his own advice. This is where Osho differed from the likes of Ramana Maharshi and Nisargadatta Maharaj. His driving ambition to start a new religion at any cost led to his downfall. But we should still be very grateful to Osho (Rajneesh) for a countless number of brilliant discouses on Tantra, Taoism, Zen, and anything to do with self-awareness, and also to his “sanyasins” who had toiled so hard to edit his discourses for publication.
⭐Perhaps the finest books I have ever read. It is unusual to read a book and stumble into a meditative state but this book had that effect and it just altered the scene after I stepped out of that ‘state’. The usual and the normal did not make sense and there was a thirst that began for the unexplored. This was the book that set it all in motion…deepest gratitude for the gift
⭐Easily one of Osho’s best, probably of of the top 5 books of his.It cover the essential of his philosophy. It is the spine of his work. This book does have many important quality to pull you in a deeper connection with one’s self.
⭐Really gem of a book. One of the first English books to be available in the West in the early 70’s. A great way to start to read Rajneesh (Osho)
