⭐I LOVE the DUMMY series. This was the perfect book to tell me what I need to know. I’ve definitely decided that no matter how CUTE Pomeranians are, I cannot afford the agony of taking them to the VET so often as my friends describe. I need a small DURABLE dog…just not a Pomeranian… THANKS DUMMIES BOOKS

⭐This book is meant for someone with limited knowledge of raising and training dogs. This was for dog 8 for me so most of it was not helpful. I just wanted specifics for the breed. I already was aware of the hyperactivity and coat needs.

⭐What a wonderful introduction to the world of Pomeranians. From their history to their idiosyncratic ways this book will give you the basic knowledge you need to have to raise a happy Pom and be a happy owner.

⭐The book didn’t tell me anything I hadn’t already read elsewhere on the internet. And for a scientist she really didn’t offer much in the way of proofs or research to back her preferred training methods – but I suppose it’s nice to have it all in one place.All in all it’s a nice read, if not all that fresh on information.

⭐This was a really helpful book that covers a wide range of necessary topics. I’ve had other types of breeds, but just got my first Pom puppy and this book definitely came in handy. Reading it cover to cover was key. It help me to be aware of and then recognize situations as they began happening, then I knew I could go back to specific sections and use it as a reference. Definitely recommend this one.

⭐Before going forward with getting our pomeranian puppy I purchased this book, and it has been extremely useful. I’ve owned dogs before, but never a pomeranian and there are always differences in each breed. This book helped clear up some questions we had, and always gave us some tips we did not even know we needed to know. I would reccomend this book to anyone looking into bringing home a pomeranian.

⭐So far this book is great, I am happy I got it and will be using it over and over. Great book for before and after you get your Pomeranian. Must knows and very informative.

⭐Very good book to read to know about your Pomeranian, it explains how to look after them in all ways and how to keep their coat in in including grooming, I would say its the best so far to read.

⭐I was having a little trouble with my puppy following some of my commands and of course biting. I was putting the biting down to teething. As I was reading this wonderful book I began to get real insights into my behaviour. I did start of from a place that it must be something I’m doing rather than my puppy, so that was very good. I appreciated the topic on treats – I think I had my biggest “a-ha!” moment (light switch came on), I immediately put that into place and within one evening, my puppy not only stopped biting/nipping at me, he’d come to me and lick my hand and be very gentle. I also changed the way I pat him – I pat under the chin and that also made a big difference. This book has helped me understand life through my puppy’s eyes. Very very insightful. The approach works. The bond is becoming stronger and stronger between me and my puppy and also the trust he has towards me is stronger. I am very pleased I bought this book. I will of course continue my research. Definitely a great and practical start.

⭐Very useful tips for both new and “experienced” owners.My Pomeranian is 2 and I still found most of the information quite useful.Was bought as a present and they were very impressed.

⭐A great deal of this book is taken up with issues concerning puppies, breeding and showing. If you are the owner of an adult dog you don’t intend to breed or show there is very little in this book that is Pomeranian-specific. I found the training advice in Deborah Woods’ Little Dogs to be far, far superior. I wish I hadn’t bothered with this.
