⭐ After being told no time and again Amelia stows away on the ferry to the island off the coast of Maine where the Wiccan Haus is located. She says she’s there to find out their ways but the fates have a different plan. He’s a widower. A warlock turned ferry boat captain avoiding his healing from losing his wife years ago. With an assassin on the loose can these two find healing and maybe their own HEA?Welcome back to the Wiccan Haus. Rekkus, Cyrus, Cemil, Sarka and Myron are all here to make your stay most entertaining.

⭐ Very unexpected but I loved it! Taking a magical ride turned into the love boat for a captain we never got to see and a stow-away!

⭐ this was not one of the best books in the Wiccan Haus series but it was an enjoyable read

⭐ I really liked the idea of The 13th Guest; a stowaway on a ship and the captain who falls for her. Yes, it’s been done over and over, but Ms. Royce adds a little twist; island getaway and a little magical fate to help them along the way to love. This is a very cute short story of two damaged people who never planned to come to the island to heal. Each were content with their lives. Satisfied in the cards that were dealt them, but Myron has other plans. The islands resident card reader has dealt them a pair and now with the help from the crew on the island, they will heal each other and mend their broken lives.Their attraction was instant, but in my opinion they needed more time for healing. We are talking deep dark problems that a little slap and tickle really can’t fix. Short stories are hard enough to write, but not to give a potentially gripping story enough time to come together is just criminal. I wish there would have been a deeper connection with the characters. They had a larger story to tell and I think it could have been spectacular. The 13th Guest is still a very nice short read. It fits nicely in with the Wiccan Haus family and I am left wondering if more of Dr. Everett’s patients will make an appearance on the island. I also hope Damek rediscovers his gift. It would be a shame to have such a strong talent go to waste. The authors of the Wiccan Haus series have a way to make me want to know more about their characters and Ms. Royce hit this mark. So while The 13th Guest may not be perfect, it is still a sweet escape and filled with love and healing.

⭐ THE 13TH GUEST is the twelfth book in the delightful Wiccan Haus series. Dr. Amelia Everett is a psychologist who has referred many patients to the Wiccan Haus for healing and it has done wonders. She’s desperate to know how their magical healing works, but denied everytime she tries to make a reservation, so she sneaks aboard the ferry led by Captain Damek Antonov. Both Amelia and Damek have emotional scars which are in desperate need of healing. Can they find the solace they both need in each other’s arms? THE 13TH GUEST seemed shorter than most Wiccan Haus books and I don’t know if the story was a developed as it could have been. I think both Amelia and Damek could have used more time to explore their issues and I don’t believe falling into bed together cures all ills. THE 13TH GUEST is still a sweet story of redemption and love, firmly entrenched in the Wiccan Haus mythos.

⭐ Another fabulous read in the Wiccan Haus series! Amelia had been trying to get a reservation to the Wiccan Haus for quite some time. She was always told that they were booked/had no reservations open, etc. After watching the transformation/restorative power of the Haus on her patients, she needed to get there herself. So, she did what she had to and snuck on board. She was discovered by the captain of the boat, who was more than kind to her. Damek, the captain, is intrigued by her, and when she is admitted to the island, he finds that he is to stay as well. Both have emotional scars but enjoy each other’s company. Will their friendship lead to more, and can they get beyond the scars? Another wonderful book by Rebecca Royce!

⭐ Having been denied entry to Wiccan Haus, Amelia sneaks on the boat where she becomes the responsibility of the boat captain Damek and together they will find that taking a risk might lead to the greatest adventure of all in this captivating paranormal romance. The fascinating setting of this island full paranormals who use their gifts to help humans and paranormals alike draws the reader in and ensures that they want to know more. If you haven’t read any of the previous stories, that’s okay because each story is made to stand alone but let me tell you that the series is full of fascinating characters and each quick and enjoyable story charms readers and this one is no different.See my full review at: The Romance Reviews .com

⭐ Amelia is a psychologist for humans and paranormal alike. Curious about Wiccan Haus and being turned away each time she tries to make a reservation, she decides on a more direct approach.Damek is the captain of the boat to the Wiccan Haus and the frontline of defense for the island. Still reeling from the death of his wife he’s not looking for a woman in his life, but he never expected Amelia. What a fast paced, sexy read. A great reminder that love comes when you least expect it. The characters are easy to identify with and the story is fast paced but has all the components needed for a good read. This is perfect for a quick afternoon read snuggled up with a warm hot chocolate!Received a copy for an honest review.

⭐ 5 Stars ☆☆☆☆☆Title: The 13th Guest A Wiccan Haus Story Author: Rebecca RoyceReviewer: Stephanie Jordan#Paranormal #Romance #Magic☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆Can you believe Ms. Royce did it again.I love the Wiccan Haus Island it’s portrayed so beautiful and magical. Who wouldn’t want to go.Dr. Amelia Everett couldn’t believe that not only was she gifted of having 2 PhD’s she was also good at her work and her clients showed it. So why had she been trying for 6 months to get on the island and was turned down everytime. Darn she just got busted from the ferry captain, Damek Antonov now what was she going to do this man might be the captain but she had to get on the island as the 13th Guest. I was gifted this ARC for an honest and truthful review.

⭐ Damek ferries the human passengers safely to the Wiccan Haus and provides first line of defense. This trip though he slips up and allows a stowaway to board. Amelia cannot believe she has resorted to stowing away to get to the Wiccan Haus, neither can she believe her interest in the boats captain. When the ferry arrives all the Rowans are there and for the first time 13 guests are checking in. Forced together Damek and Amelia start to heal the emotional wounds neither intended to move on from and find existing and living are not the same thing. Sweet short for the Wiccan Haus collection with heart felt new characters!**this book received in exchange for an honest opinion**
