User’s Reviews

Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I have read two of the collected works, i.e., The Sun Also Rises and For Whom the Bell Tolls. I will continue to read the remaining books as I have been spellbound by Hemingway’s writing and POV. Both books provide amazing insights into human nature and the meaning of life. I found the Sun Also Rises to be excellent on reflection, though I can’t say I looked forward to reading it each night because the characters lead such superficial and hedonistic lives. There are some gruesome descriptions of bullfighting. In contrast, I was excited to read For Whom the Bell Tolls – it is a riveting and powerful story. It has some of the most disturbing and horrifying descriptions of death that I have every read, however. You cannot get a better value for a $1.00 ebook, that’s for sure!

⭐I realize there are many who dislike Hemingway’s style, or lifestyle, or whatever but say what you will, he changed writing with his newspaper style. He also won a well deserved Nobel Prize for one of the best novels ever written.

⭐I decided to purchase this for my Kindle seeing as I’ve never sat to read any of Ernest Hemingway’s books.I’m enjoying the books, but there have been more than a few type errors. The errors I’ve caught have been small, but very distracting.I’ve submitted the errors using the Kindle app in the hopes that these errors will be fixed for future customers.I’m not fully completed the bundle yet, and it would be nice if the publishers could run a quick spell check and update the entire collection.I would still purchase this set if you are thinking about it, the price is worth 9 books. The navigation is good, similar to most Kindle bundles, allowing ease of navigation through the various books.

⭐Great story telling a little mushy sometimes but all in very good. I have read some of his stories in single book form this is a nice way to get a lot of things in a small group. Would recommend.

⭐Couldn’t even get into it because the table of contents is completely messed up. If you can figure it out maybe you can navigate well enough to read the books you want. Untitled books and chapters and repeated numerous times. It said the length of the books was in the 30,000 pages which naturally doesn’t make any sense.
