⭐This book is not relatable to me as a woman in Physics. The back of the book has an add for a book about how to find a rich man and marry him. Kinda disappointing especially in a book about Physics.If it were more updated with moder things, I would rate it higher.

⭐I like this book because it has interesting and motivating physics problems that can be solved without math, but with just careful thinking on the truly physical aspects and principles. I do not mean that math should not be used in physics books, nor that all physics problems can be solved without math, but problems that do not need math are also very interesting and should be taught; this book is very good in doing that. I think this book would be very useful in high school (as complement to conventional books) because it would have great effect on kids’s mental habits and rational thinking.I am sure that if you are not a professional physicist but you like physics, like me, you will enjoy with this book. The only one thing I do not like from this book is that answers are written upside down. It deserves 5 stars.

⭐Fun, thought provoking, entertaining way to learn Physics. I give copies of this to young people every year for Christmas and other events. I taught high school physics the last 28 years of my career and have seen the value of this work. If you have kids (or know anyone who likes to do puzzles thinking, or just has scientific curiosity) this should be in your house.

⭐BUY IT. Read it in the tub. Read it to your kids. READ IT ALL THE TIME. Buy it used, trust me, it doesn’t matter.

⭐Good book for beginners and experts who are rusty. Some concepts needed a little more explanation for beginners.I’d like to see follow-on volumes. Perhaps separate volumes on each discipline with many, many examples. All answers should be included in the back of the book.

⭐Used the book in my physics course for 20 years, and now I give the book to all my young relatives how are interested in physics!

⭐A must if you’re curious how the physical world really works

⭐a must have for students and teachers. I have repurchased it twice whenever I suspected that it was lost or stolen.

⭐The book itself is a classic I came across in the university library as an undergrad years ago; always wanted a copy. Found this from a US secondhand seller, Owls Books, MD. Expected delivery was mid-January, but it was delivered to the UK before Christmas, all for less than a tenner! As a metric person, my biggest issue (apart from recalling the science) is converting some of the numerical examples/problems from Imperial to SI, but at least the physics is the same!
