Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:
⭐”Wii Fitness for Dummies” covers three fitness games for the Wii: Wii Fit Plus, EA Sports Active: Personal Trainer, and Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2010. The book tells users how to get started in each game including setting up your fitness profile, the various challenges in each game, and how to perform the exercises. The book also includes lists of things like the 10 Best Wii Fitness Accessories and 10 Other Wii Fitness Workout Programs.”Wii Fitness for Dummies” is a very informative book on how to use three Wii fitness games. The largest portion of the book is about Wii Fitness Plus – rightfully so since it contains the most features of the three. Although I’ve used the Wii Fit Plus for quite some time, I learned a few new things about it from reading this book. In fact, I’m glad I read the book because I’ve been underutilizing the Wii Fit Plus. The other two segments are also useful but pretty much just explain how to do the various exercises (I did find the explanation on how to wear the leg strap that comes with EA Sports Active: Personal Trainer to be helpful as I’ve had problems wearing it in the past). I do appreciate the longer explanations for both EA Sports Active: Personal Trainer and Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2010 as the instruction booklets are useful but brief. The book is filled photos showing various exercises contained in all three exercise programs which is also very helpful.”Wii Fitness for Dummies” is a very useful book and I refer to it often.
⭐The other reviews cover this book very well and they are accurate. I found the book very helpful. Before I got the book, the game often would tell me I had bad balance. Not true. I just didn’t understand what it wanted me to do. Once I had the book to explain, I improved greatly — or rather, got a better score. Maybe its because I’m older, but the games are not as intuitive as I had expected.. This book also was helpful in discussing how to set up routines and how that worked. For everything it covered, it was very helpful indeed, but it does not cover all the games and there still I’m having trouble figuring out. But, that said, I would still recommend buying it because having it is so much better than doing without.
⭐I was quite surprised at the in depth reviews in this book of the Wii Fitness games. As I have just about all of the games mentioned I found these descriptions quite accurate! Like all the “Dummies” books I found this book easy to read and helpful!
⭐Book arrived in good condition at the proper time. Will purchase from this sellar again. Love the book!
⭐I bought this for my daughter originally. As I travelled on a bus to visit her I casually picked up the book and then missed my stop ending up in the Bus Station.By the time I got together with her I was hooked on the Wii (I am 62-ish years old).I bought this originally to explain to my daughter about the internet and the Wii connection. She knows about the Wii and I, the internet.Even the very basic setting up of the wii is understandable by me.My daughter could not put it down; I heard – “Well I never knew that” and “I didn’t know how to do that” amongst other remarks.I have bought many of the Dummies and Idiots books about PC’s over the years so their reputation preceded the purchase of this book.I now have my own copy.BUY IT TODAY = it is worth every penny.Hope this helps someone.
⭐Good Bible to go with the Windows Fit package
⭐This is an excellent book for a first time Wii er This was our situation and the book provided a great deal of help.I would recommend it!
⭐I’ve never read a ‘dummies’ book before and I found it very informative. Read this book within two days.
