    User’s Reviews

Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐The book contains a good summary of the basics, but is a little weak on the games included with the unit. If you want to know how to install the unit, connect to the internet, use the polling features, etc., Wii for Dummies is a good reference. There are probably better references if you want to know details about the games in Wii Sports. The descriptions don’t include anything but brief summaries about each game. There are no tips or cheats. For some reason the author included volumes of information on Wii Fit but nothing on Wii Sports Resort.

⭐I really learned alot. I ended up reading the entire book from cover to cover. I am new to Wii and was able to understand all the suggestions. I’ll keep this book close by so that I can refresh my memory about how to do different activities, look up web sites to get more info, etc. Very readable – not “dry”.

⭐Not all Wii programs are as intuitive as you might expect. Plus, there are hints that one can apply to make the games easier to get into and perform with some initial level of understanding. Wii for Dummies did just what I wanted by giving me a reasonable degree of info on the nuances of each game so I could get into them without looking like a klutz.

⭐A must especially for those of us who didn’t grow up playing video games. The author covers all the bases and then some. Easy to read and find things in, has lots of info not included in the manufacturer’s user’s guide.

⭐good and informative book. I’m glad I bought it and had no trouble setting up my wii and using it right away. Also the section on how Nintendo came to be is not to be missed.

⭐Twas just as described and more! WoW thank you very much I don’t know what I’ll do with it now, Always, LeAnne M Pruitt

⭐Great book! Easy to understand. Gets right to the heat of things

⭐This is a great book for folks just trying to learn the fundamentals of hooking up and using a WII. It’s especially useful for the baby boom generation who no longer have young people living at home to show them how to do it. I recommend it highly.

⭐In the past I have bought the Dummies Guides for computer products and various other things and always found them excellent value – information wise for the cost of the books.I spotted this book while browsing Amazon for Wii items and I bought this book for my Wii Mad daughter – she is 34 years old.We wanted it to look up about the Wii and the internet – by the way that part is very good and easy to understand. Also I had just bought Family Trainer Outdoor Challenge for her (see the video on the Amazon page for that disc) which included a mat. This book must have been written before the Wii play mat was introduced as it did not include anythig about that.I boarded our local bus on the way to meet her with the boxed Family Trainer in my trolley and opened the Dummies Guide to read to while away the journey.By the end of the first and second chapters I was hooked and another passenger asked me about the book, he is going to get a copy too after reading up a solution for a little problem he had with his Wii.I am ordering a second copy today for myself though I am not planning on getting a Wii for a few months. It really is worth the cash. Buy it today.

⭐It is really easy to use and very helpful with regards to finding out how the Wii works! I would recommend, came in good condition and on time to. It has pages at the back for adding notes and it also includes pictures!

⭐Found this a compelling read, found a lot about the wii which i didn’t know about. If you are going to get a wii check this book ot first!
