⭐ I believe Emma Hart saved the best Burke brother for the last! Kye Burke is completely different from his brothers and I couldn’t help but fall in love with him.Kye is the more level headed, sweet, and thoughtful of the Burke brothers, he’s seen each and every one of his brothers fall hard for their girls and he never expected it to happen to him. When Chelsey and him hook up one night, he can’t get her out of his head, and pursues her relentlessly. Chelsey on the other hand, doesn’t want to be chased by a rock star, she wants to be left alone and not deal with the pain that is caused by having someone like Kye in her life. Kye realizes quickly that he needs to make Chelsey his, but it’s not an easy task. Chelsey has been hurt by her father (also a rock-star) and the wounds of what she’s gone through run deep. With Kye determined to break down those walls and get her to let him in things definitely get interesting.I loved the bickering back and forth between Kye and Chelsey. Kye is cocky, hilarious, and a bit of an ass at times (but only with good intentions). Chelsey is guarded, scared, and sometimes a little bitchy. Together they are full of fire! Watching Chelsey continue to push Kye away got a bit annoying at times, but I don’t think things would have ended up the way they did for them if she would have let him in at first. Kye proved over and over again how much he cares for her and what he’s willing to do to keep her in his life, and yet at times it feels as if he will never get through to her.The back and forth in this story is crazy, and full of angst. I couldn’t put this book down from the minute I picked it up till I reached “The End”. I had to know if Kye would finally get the girl, and if Chelsey would finally let Kye in 100%. Not only are they hilarious together, but their chemistry is hot from the very beginning of this book all the way to the end. Emma Hart did an amazing job of making their scenes steamy, but not over the top. This book was perfectly balanced with just enough angst, sexiness, and laugh out loud moments.Not only do we get Kye and Chelsey’s story, but we also get to see how Conner, Tate, Aiden, Sophia, Jessie, Ella, Leiah, and Mila are doing as well. I loved seeing these couples continue to move forward, as well as getting to see more of Mila (the spitfire of a 2 year old that you can’t help but love). Seeing all these brothers and knowing where they came from in the beginning of the series, to where they are now, is pretty awesome. Each of these characters in this series has grown so much and have made me fall in love with them just a little bit more each book.As sad as I am that this series is now over, I loved how it ended. Each one of these men found an amazing woman that is meant for them, and the extended epilogue gave us some insight into what is going on with these brothers and the girls, for which I am grateful! I didn’t want to say goodbye, but I couldn’t have asked for a better ending for this series! Run, don’t walk, and pick up your copy of Dirty Tricks, and all the other Burke Brother books today, it’s a series you will not regret reading!

⭐ This is the last of the Burke Brothers books and I guess when they say, “save the best for last” Emma had that in mind when she picked the order of these books. From the first book in this series, I have been a Tate “girl” never thinking I would sway in my opinion…. I’m not totally over into the Kye camp, but he’s number two on my list Burke boys.He’s got a filthy mouth and when he wants something, he doesn’t stop until he gets it. In this case, he wants Chelsey Young. One of the problems though is that Chelsey is very familiar what the world of being in a band is all about because her father is in the business and she knows she doesn’t want a life where she has to worry about what her boyfriend would be doing out on the road while touring. She’s seen it firsthand.Problem is she can’t resist Kye anymore and falling into bed with him for a one-night stand is her solution. Yeah that generally doesn’t work out the way we’d like it to and in this case, big backfire for both Kye and Chels! I loved reading the interactions between these two. It’s smart, sassy and sexy. Along the way, we get some steam up my glasses sex that had me fanning myself more than once. Leave it to Emma to give Kye a woman that won’t just give in because he’s “Kye Burke!”He has to work for it, and does he do a good job with that! For me, he would prove irresistible. I should have known that Kye would be the kind of man his Mom would be proud of. It’s very sweet to see how he really cares for Chels and only wants the best for her. He tries to protect her when he can and as much as Chels doesn’t want to admit how much she’s falling for him, watching her fall was everything I hoped it would be.”The magic of the Burke brothers is that they are all so very easy to fall in love with. The problem with them is that you no idea you’ve already hit the ground until it’s too late. As for me? I think I’m six feet under.”Let’s also not forget that Kye and Chels are surrounded by love and togetherness with his brothers and their wives/girlfriends along with the precocious Mila that gives feelings to Kye of wanting to reproduce with Chelsey. But, what obstacles will stand in their way? Will Chelsey be able to fully trust Kye given his history with women and what he does for a living? Can she look past all the previous women? Does Kye really have the patience to stick it out long term until he’s convinced Chelsey she’s his perfect match given her upbringing?You’ll get all these answers along with one of the best Burke brother’s stories to date when you pick up this last book in this series.

⭐ 4.5 / 5 starsThis was one of those books that I haven’t read a single book in the series prior.This was one of those books that regardless, I wanted to know the family, I wanted to see the falling… I just wanted to read the book. So I bought it. And have plans to read the other books, simply because the interactions in this book (and goodness gracious, the epilogue too) have me wanting to see everyone else’s HEA.And gosh, that cover… It’s a pretty cover…I really love stories where the guy has this negative reputation (either in truth or simply because of career choice and therefore a negative connotation), and he fights to prove his worth, fights to prove that he’s different than what everyone believes. From the get-go, Kye was out to prove to Chelsey that he was worth her time even though Chelsey continuously put up walls and tried to play the “let’s just take off our clothes” line. Of the brothers, Kye is definitely the sweet, more laid back one.I enjoyed watching him fight for Chelsey, and just the same, I enjoyed watching Chelsey learn to trust as well as figure out that not everyone ‘in the business’ was going to be like her father. These two were incredibly sweet together, and my only wish would have been for a look in their lives a little bit further down the road — because I like those kinds of things 😉

But, once you get to know Chelsey and you see who she really is, you understand why she is the way that she is. You being to understand why she is so closed off and has such high and guarded wall. It takes a special soul, a special type of person to be able to penetrate those walls, and that person is Kye. Kye is special in his own way. He is so unlike the other Burke brothers. He is softer and more thoughtful, but that doesn’t make him any less of an alpha male. Kye knew exactly what Chelsea needed even when she had no clue herself.Dirty Tricks is the final book in The Burke Brothers series and I have to tell you, I am so sad to see them go. I have been a fan of this series ever since I got my hands on the very first book. With each book, I have managed to fall deeper and deeper in love with the characters and their stories. I fell in love with Kye and Chelsey immediately. I could just tell that their story was going to be special and it definitely was. Dirty Tricks had everything that I could have wanted and more. It had complex and intriguing characters. The story line was refreshing and filled with lots of heart. Chelsey’s character was frustrating and complicated, but ended up being the perfect match for Kye. Their road to HEA was not an easy one; they definitely had a lot of bumps along the way. But, seeing the two of them together…..you just knew. You knew that these two were meant to be. They challenged each other and didn’t let each other get away with anything. In the end, they were just perfect.Dirty Tricks is a fabulous addition to The Burke Brothers series. This story will pull you and keep you captivated the entire time. Emma Hart has once again delivered an amazing read filled with lots of love, romance, and sexy good times. This book will frustrate you, pull at your heart and make you swoon all at the same time. There is just so much to love about Kye and Chelsey’s story. And the epilogue….It was absolute perfection. It may have even brought a few tears to my eyes. Fans of Emma Hart, this is a definite must read. It does not disappoint!

⭐ Kye, the most reserved of the Burke brothers, and the last to be attached to anyone. He has had a crush on Jessie’s best friend for a while now, but her prickly demeanor makes it hard for anyone to get close.Chelsey, she is the daughter of a neglectful, absentee rock star dad. She doesn’t trust them at all, so when Kye Burke comes around wanting more after their one night stand she is not having it.Kye was sweet, and just plain adorable. Not a ladies man like his brothers, but definitely all man. He knows what he wants and he goes after it full throttle even when getting shot down rather harshly repeatedly.Chelsey, I understand her reservations. Her dad really did a number on her mom and then on her. But she was just way to harsh. There is prejudice against the rock star lifestyle and then there is just plain unjustifiable hatred for anyone involved in it. Her bitterness ran deep even after so many years, it seemed to be more than just the neglect of her father fueling it. She knew Kye, she said she trusted him, but she was just so bitter and abrasive that I was rooting for him to walk away. I just couldn’t get on board with her being the one for him at all.The epilogues were sweet, not a final HEA for each couple but a glimpse. But like others have said, where was Leila’s HFN?

⭐ What can I say …the best Burke was saved for last. Kye Burke was everything and more. This was truly his story. Usually the female heroine outshines the guy in most romances but this one didn’t as a matter of fact her overall attitude was so immature and annoying most of the time , is why this book wasn’t a 5 star read for me. I have read every book in this series and Chelsey is my lest favorite of the girls. I understand her daddy abandonment issues/ inside rockstar knowledge but at some point it felt like I could shake her because she was so “flip flopish” . Despite this, the beauty that is Kye Burke stuck through it and we got our HEA. I will give Emma credit for an awesome ending though, loved that she gave us an ending to a series where we got to see a bit of life after with each Burke brother. Job well done Emma I will miss these guys but am eager for whatsoever comes in this new year.

⭐ I am so going to miss the Burke brothers! I thought Connor was my favorite, but Kye is hands down the most level headed, romantic, sensible Burke of them all! Chelsey somewhat got on my last nerve with her stand-offish bitchiness, but that did entice the game for Kye. Their romance story unfolds in quite a funny way (snort)!Be prepared from Chapter 16 till the end to be a blubbery mess! It is very emotional and you ache for everyone involved.Epilogue was perfect! You got closure from each brother. I sure am going to miss them! I hate when Emma Hart’s series end! She writes so well and gets you sucked into her stories so easily, then it ends, ugh!Emma Hart is AWESOMENESS!

⭐ The entire Burke Brothers series was fun, real, Crazy, drove me nuts wondering what these wonderful characters would do next!Even the secondary characters, Nana and Pop, were just as enticing, you never knew what they were going to do in reaction to the main characters!Pop and Nana were definitely tied for first place in surprising me.But you cannot leave us without Leila’s story! Truly she was just as crazy, etc as her brothers, and certainly held her own within the series!I loved these books, HIGHLY RECOMMEND, but please Leila needs her own happiness!Karen

⭐ I just finished “Dirty Tricks” and LOVED it! For those who have not read the series, I encourage you to do so, as the backstory will be helpful. Kye, the last single Burke brother, has fallen for Chelsey, a rock star princess. However, animosity toward her dad and the way he left her and her mom remains, and Kye has to work on breaking down the wall left behind. Add in band drama and the fact they are slated to leave a few days before Christmas, Chelsey knows he will leave her and find someone better on the road. What she doesn’t count on is that Kye is like all other Burke’s, in that when he wants something he doesn’t stop until it is his. Laugh out loud till you cry scenes include Kye’s decoration of his mom’s Christmas tree when she isn’t home and “Welcome to Divaville”. The reaction of the characters in these scenes is priceless! Emma gives you the ability to step out of your own life for a bit and step into a world that has you craving more.

⭐ Kye Burke is the last man standing of his brothers who have all found their own HEA already. Chelsey grew up with a rock legend as her dad. She went on tour with him and saw the endless stream of groupies he slept with. Chelsey is determined to not fall for Kye Burke who is a member of a current day boy rock band. Kye is determined to prove to Chelsey that he is nothing like her dad. Can Kye convince Chelsey to take a chance on him?I absolutely loved this book, but there is no surprise there. I have loved all of Emma Hart’s books. This was a bittersweet read since I knew this was the last book in the Burke Brothers series. If you love dirty talking men who will do anything to prove their love to their women, then read this book (and series).
