⭐ You can tell this book had two authors. At one point she is having a mental breakdown and stops to think about sex. Her emotions are all over the place and her actions are incredibly unbelievable. When things go south, she just rolls over. She is not a strong female character. She’s a bundle of insecurities hiding behind the mask of a cold bitch. When any sort of confrontation appears she has to call for help. She is a mob boss’s daughter and doesn’t carry around a gun? Really? She just waltzes around like she’s on the set of The Sound of Music, just going for it, living her best life, while simultaneously staring into the void, waiting for the cold hands of death to seize her. The book starts with her fingering the trigger of a gun and then wandering off weaponless into a dark alley and then she acts surprised that life isn’t all sunshine and roses. She learns practically nothing throughout the book. Bad things happen and she still never gets herself any sort of protection. She just figuratively throws the back of her hand to her forehead and faints dramatically every 10 pages. She is not a strong female character and every review saying otherwise is lying. The male love interests are all the same man copied and pasted over each other. They are all about her and how “strong” she is and how they need to protect her, but she is basically a raccoon with a drinking problem in a prom dress. She’s the daughter of a crime boss and acts like she had no idea daddy dearest actually killed people. I couldn’t handle it. The plot the whole book followed ended at 84% in to the book, but it kept going. Two chapters are just dedicated to her getting trashed and putting on sexy clothes. I wouldn’t recommend. The writing wasn’t the best either. One memorable part of a sentence was “her panties were thin… so thin”. The authors had an almost obsessive need to make things sexual, that absolutely should not have been. Also there were a few inconsistencies. She has a person working for her for about 8 months, but she says it was years. I think it was just a mistake that didn’t get caught in editing, but I still had to go back and double check that it said months. I just wouldn’t recommend.

⭐ I’m having a difficult time writing this review. I absolutely loved the Vampires in this story. They are cunning and deadly.The FMC?She’s weak. Being a Mafia Kingpin’s daughter she doesn’t know anything about the business, doesn’t know how to defend herself and constantly pretends to have everything under control. When she clearly doesn’t. She’s supposed to be “ruthless’ but she really comes across as naive and intentionally obtuse. I mean, her family is making deals around her and she does nothing to stop them? But she constantly keeps saying she’s going to get oay back. Still waiting on that pay back.The development between the FMC and the Vampires was kindof jarring. 180 degree turn. But, I do love a very possessive, over the top jealous lover. And here we’ve got 4 who are very willing to spoil her and love her.For this reason I’ll gladly keep reading. But Ruth’s gotta handle her own affairs. She needs to buckle down and get smart.

⭐ I really tried to like this, but just couldn’t get into the characters. They fell flat for me. The random time inconsistencies also drove me a little nuts. It had an 8 months later tag and the fmc kept thinking it’s been years since the event, then would switch to 8 months and back to years. The plot is interesting, but what’s her name is dull, yep already forgot her name, and the mmc’s don’t get much screen time or dialogue. I have no idea why they want her or her them.My opinion is not everyone’s opinion on this so you may love, try the sample if you’re not sure

⭐ Not another hopeless female main character thank god!!! The writing style is unique and the story believable. The main character is convincing in her actions, and relationships are odd yet convincing. All in all an excellent read! I personally can’t wait for the next one!

⭐ A good combination of paranormal and mafia stories. Human mafias have rival supernatural mafias. Ruth is the daughter of a mob boss and his heiress. She is threatened by those who want her dead. Elithien is the Vampire mafia mob boss. Ruth is tough and a fighter. She is determined to take out those who want to kill her and take over her mob. Ruth falls for the of the 4 vampires of the Vampire mob. There are steamy scenes and lots if action.

⭐ First off I loved this book however it took me a few chapters to actually become engrossed in the storyline. We have a mob boss’s daughter who comes across as helpless and yet is always rescued in the nick of time. The real kicker is that she always believes that it is her family out to get her. The real kicker will surprise you if you don’t realize that they are only the secondary problem. I can’t wait to keep reading on and find out if Ruth can actually knuckle down and kick some butt on her own. I can recommend this to anyone who enjoys this genre.

⭐ I loved this unique take of a vampire story. It has everything you could possibly want in a story. Successful and strong main female character. You have four vampires that want to give her the world if she would let them and let’s not forget a handsome bodyguard willing to protect her with his life. Danger is all around her but it’s not the monsters that stole her heart but the monsters that have been in her life from the beginning that want to take it all for themselves. Story ends in one hell of a cliffhanger but thank goodness the next book is out.

⭐ WOW what a intense ride! Awesome characters and what a storyline! Ruth was so mixed up and I guess she was what we call abused…her father really loved her in his way and to prove it look who showed up with a leather glove!! Damn this was good! Already ordered the next two books !

⭐ Ruth is the daughter of a very powerful man. However, her uncle and cousins and trying to overthrow her and every turn. When her father is dying and things are going bad she goes to the vampires. Will they help her or are they the monsters everyone says they are?
