Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I was shuffling through my disorganized bookshelves and came across “The Early Asimov” books 1 and 2 – a collection of his early short stories. After going through those, I felt like reading up on the others, and had the choice of going with the more recent “omnibus” Vol1 and Vol2 or picking up the individual books instead. Went with the individual book option as some of those might include a bit of an introduction by the author.”Nine Tomorrows” unfortunately doesn’t have introductions to each story, but the stories themselves are worth a read (or re-read). Some of the stories are among the great ones – “The Last Question”, “The Ugly Little Boy” and “I’m in Marsport Without Hilda”. It also has some that weren’t familiar to me – “Profession” and “Gentle Vultures”. Checking around, I think that most of if not all of these stories are available in “Complete Stories Volume 1” but this little book has a more friendly feel to it.So far as the anthologies go, it was interesting to see that “The Last Question” has appeared in 12+ instances (so far as I can tell online) while “Gentle Vultures” is around two. Most anthologies will overlap, so if one gets multiple anthologies, one may get duplicate stories. But it’s worth it!Unrelated: for Asimov fans, A is for A-simov, A is for A-mazon. I just found a “volume 2” (1979) to the “volume 1” (1978) collection I picked up a few years ago. A-wesome. Also eagerly waiting for “Buy Jupiter and Other Stories”.

⭐older stories from a science fiction master.

⭐I read this book 50 years ago, and I always remembered the details, but I had given the book away when I read it. I wanted to read it again, and it has not been printed again, so I was happy to find a used copy. The original was a paperback, but this one had been hard-bound for library use. What a find!

⭐Very happy with condition of book!

⭐Nine Tomorrows is written by my all-time favorite science fiction author, so it is difficult to rate this volume. I will say though, that it contains my all-time favorite short science fiction story, “The Last Question.” Everybody should read Isaac Asimov as he examines the human condition from different points of view, including the not so human. I also recommend his ‘Robot’ series and his ‘Foundation’ series. He closes the loop successfully, but there are a lot of books,

⭐The best possible gift for someone who isn’t familiar with classic Asimov. Exemplary stories from the golden era of science fiction. Of course, somewhat dated today, but, like Shakespeare, enduring value. Quotable, memorable. Long out of print. His longer novels are of course the “foundation” (pun intended) of modern science fiction. But, these short stories are diamonds.

⭐I was, about, 12 or 13, in around 1963, when I read Nine Tomorrows for the first time. The story: “The Last Question” had a profound effect on my adolescent mind, forever expanding my understanding of the concept of God. I am, of course, still struggling with it to this day. Before long, I may discover whether the experience was worth it, but, the journey has been…

⭐I never cease to be amazed by Asimov’s insight into humanity and the twentieth century. Asimov foresaw a time when computers could be smaller than the giant vacuum tube monstrosities of the 1950s. He foresaw a time when humans would come to rely upon technology far more than their own brains. The short stories in this book are entertaining sciene fiction. They are also captivating mirrors on where our society could go.I love using this book in my high-school English classes. It should definitely be considered part of the science-fiction cannon.

⭐This was the first book I read from the legend Isaac Asimov. The book is a collection of nine short stories each different and unique yet joined by Asimov’s unrealistic yet believable style. * “I Just Make Them Up, See!” (Poem) * “Profession” * “The Feeling of Power” * “The Dying Night” (part of the Wendell Urth series) * “I’m in Marsport Without Hilda” * “The Gentle Vultures” * “All the Troubles of the World” (part of the Multivac series) * “Spell My Name with an S” * “The Last Question” (loosely part of the Multivac series) * “The Ugly Little Boy” * “Rejection Slips” (Poem)Each of these stories are a glance into the future through the thoughts of Isaac Asimov one of the Grandfathers of Science fiction.

⭐Great stories, delivered as promised. Will be exploring more from Asimov. I know he’s written loads, but I’ve only discovered him now.

⭐Sci-Fi at it’s best

⭐Great read
