Description

In a world where vampires are real, blood is a financial asset and sex mixed with blood commands the highest price… Myra Danson is in desperate need of cash and when she has the opportunity to join the shadow world of blood courtesans, she jumps before she looks. Soon she’s sharing a bed with the handsome Kristos Anastos, but then bullets start to fly and she finds herself running for her life. At first, Kristos assures her the attack stems from his enemies hoping to destroy him, but it quickly becomes clear that Myra is the real target. Worse, she’s falling in love with Kristos, but is the sexy vampire friend or foe? Blood is money and Myra’s may be worth the most of all. A past she never knew existed has come to claim her and she’ll be lucky if she only ends up dead.

⭐ This story tells about a whole new world of vampires and humans, who live together peacefully, supplying each other’s needs. The vamps need human blood, but instead of being a painful or scary experience, it’s a satisfying sexual experience for both sides. In fact, our heroine, Myra, is determined to become a blood courtesan. The money to be paid is exorbitant, and she has a mother dying from cancer, and a vampire whom she’s never met for a father. If she can’t save her mother’s life, she’ll be left all alone in the world, with no one of her own. It’s a great story with lots of surprises, and a romance, too. You can’t beat Ms Fox when it comes to HEA’s, and this one is one of her best.Jgtimm

⭐ I mostly enjoyed this book. I don’t often read vampire books, so this was a nice change of pace. The writing and story was great. Both main characters were likeable. I guess if I had to complain about something, it was that I didn’t really understand their connection to each other. Kristos risked a lot for her and considering they just met, I think it would have made more sense for his character to cut her loose. Maybe he could have, then she manages to fall at his lap again in trouble and he could grudgingly help her, meanwhile he starts to feel protective – or something. I don’t know, but in some places I couldn’t understand why he wanted to risk his life for her. However, I did enjoy this read and it felt unique enough that it wasn’t boring. I’d definitely recommend for any vampire lovers and anyone who likes a bit of steam in their love scenes. Well done Michelle!

⭐ I enjoyed Blood Struck. Kristos was super yummy and the right combination of caring and strong (gotta love a man who takes care of his girl!). The book had some funny moments too and Myra had guts even though she was in over her head.I wished the story had been longer and that more had been done with the blood courtesan thing. I felt like there were some threads that didn’t get tied up and I hope that’s because there’s another book.Overall, a fun, light read that this vampire lover enjoyed.

⭐ Myra’s mother has cancer and the only way to pay for that is to become a blood courtesan. But there is a couple of problems with that; Myra is a virgin who knows nothing about vampires. She is accepted and sent on her first date with Kristo.Kristol is looking forward to meeting the blushing courtesan, but things don’t quite turn out the way he expected. Myra flashes the whole restaurant, ducks bullets and a kidnapping attempt and that was in the first 24 hours. Read how Kristol and Myra survive to live the next 24 hours.

⭐ Myra, a young woman in her mind 20’s in need of some fast cash to pay for her mothers medical bills, so she decided to basically sell her body and blood to the vampires for a price, however it all changes in one night. I did fine this book to be high in action right off the bat which is good and there was no lack of passion which I also loved . My only request is that there be a little bit of after story or second book if you will to see if she turns out to be like her father and be able to create a new race of human / vampires or not. Either way this is on my list of must read Vampire Romance. We’ll done

⭐ I had never heard of blood courtesans, and I was on the edge of my seat from the moment I realized what it was. The whole idea of it is actually a bit erotic. The characters in this book were well developed and the story line is great. This book has everything anyone could ever want in a good book. There is romance, some steamy sex scenes, action and adventure. There are also some twists in this book that I wasn’t expecting. The only reason I give four stars for this book is because I wanted to keep reading about Kristos and Myra! A great job by Michelle Fox. I’m already looking for more of her work.

⭐ Kept me turning the pages to see what twists and turns were going to happen next . ABSOLUTELY LOVE the intriguing intricacies of her creative writing about the vampires. Michelle never disappoints you with her wonderful books no matter what the subject matter is or species. So if you want to have an enjoyable experience check out this wonderfully enjoyable reading and all of her books that are available for your enjoyment.

⭐ Please make more vampire books like this I loved it. What I like about this book is there is a good story behind it. Its not just vampires killing humans. I love when there is that one vampire that falls so in life with a human woman that he will risk his own life for her and go against his own rules just to save her and keep her for himself. And this book gives us readers that and more. If you have not read this book read it!!! This book was so good I loved it!!!

⭐ I fell in love with Myra. The scene where she falls down in the restaurant with her peek-a-boo dress had me smiling big. The book is a great read.

⭐ Loved this book, I like the spin on vampire relationships. I would have given 5 stars, but as the plot evolved I was taken aback. But wow, it caught me off guard. Still a great story. will recommend to friends.
