Description

I am the good girl, the one who does no wrong.
Daughter to a ferocious and strong MC President, I know what protection feels like.
Until one night changes everything – and not a single person in the world can protect me from it, not even my dad.

Suffocating. Alone. Desperate.
I let my problems live deep inside until there is no longer anywhere to run.
I need an escape. Anything to make the pain go away.
Trouble comes for me, and I don’t fight it.
I tried so hard to believe in what I was,
But nobody understood.
Not until him. Not until Lucas.
He sees me. He believes in me.
He refuses to let me drown.
He’s my way out. My escape.
But Lucas is forbidden. He’s a cop. I’m in danger. And my father is trying to protect what can’t be protected.
There can only be one outcome.
Pandemonium.

⭐ Ava and Lucas (Luke) meet after she just endures the worst moments of her life. She is abducted by someone bent on revenge against her father and he makes her choose either her life or the other girl he has abducted. Ava has to make a heartbreaking choice and is left to deal with the fallout. Lucas is still recovering from his own personal hell and doesn’t know if he is strong enough to take on Ava. While Ava starts to lean on Lucas after finally coming to realize that the bottom of a bottle or drugs isn’t going to take away the trauma, only mask it. Lucas tries to keep himself separate from Ava because, not only is he a cop, he is still searching for his missing ex-wife. When Ava reaches rock bottom and Lucas comes to her rescue they begin a romantic relationship. Lucas keeps his secret hell still hidden and Ava is too insecure to ask or demand that he tell her his secrets. When her overbearing father (come on a 24 year old who has to answer to her father on where she is and when she is home) discovers their relationship he goes crazy and fills Ava’s head with garbage about Lucas. Ava realizes that she should trust Lucas but is so hurt by him and her father that she lashes out. When the father of the girl who was killed demands that Ava tell him exactly what happened, she breaks and Lucas is the only one who can comfort her. When Lucas finally tells her whole story, her father is devastated and her mother is having a hard time coping with how bad things were for Ava.There were parts of this story that bothered me, the first being how over-the-top her father was with her. He treated her like a 5 year old and not a 24 year old. Lucas called her “kid” from the beginning and that bothered me that he continued it after they started a romantic relationship together, it felt creepy. I was also bothered by the fact that neither her father, nor Lucas, had a problem with her walking to her car alone, even though they both knew she was still in danger. There were some moments that were a little far-fetched to let me fully embrace them. I also didn’t feel a great connection between Lucas and Ava in their beginning and had a hard time seeing them as a couple. He seemed to flip a switch and decide that he was falling in love with her and she with him but I must have missed what triggered it.

⭐ Pandemonium (MC Sinners Next Generation #1)By: Bella Jewel4/5 starsAva is the daughter of MC President, Jackson, and has always been a daddy’s girl and has grown up safe in the arms of the MC, with her much older sister Addison who is married to the club VP, Cade. Jackson is over-protective about both of his daughters and takes it personally if he can’t protect them. Ava is getting out in the world by living on her own and working full-time. But when club trouble finds her, she can’t escape, and she is forced to endure or someone else will suffer the pain and punishments. She is abused not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. It’s the type of pain that eats at her soul and drives her to a bottle and leaves her drowning. She doesn’t share her pain with her family or friends, so the pain just festers.Lucas is the cop who finds Ava after she was left beaten and battered. Lucas tries to help Ava, but there is only so much that you can do for someone, until they start doing it for themselves. But Lucas is the only one that Ava feels she can turn to. That in itself presents problems because Lucas is the forbidden cop who has had an entanglement with Ava’s outlaw dad’s MC. Lucas has his own problems in his past which were a dark spot. He was somewhat closed off himself, and consumed by his work. I really liked his character.Throughout all of this, there were flashbacks, so it was like reading 2 stories at the same time and the timeline between the two didn’t really seem like it matched up. I saw & understood the connection between Lucas and Ava. But I didn’t really feel where they fell in love. It just seemed like it was something that the readers were supposed to understand that it had happened. I don’t know if it was because of how the book was choppy between the past and present or what, but I didn’t feel their love for each other.A thesaurus would definitely be beneficial. I get annoyed at a repeat of words, in all their different forms. I begin to roll my eyes & scenes that should be impactful, seem cheesy.Broken- 71Flinch- 49Mutter- 40Bark- 39Gasp- 36Grunt- 31Bellow- 30Croak- 28Murmur- 26Rasp- 15I’ll still be reading all of the books in this series, because I loved all the original characters, and the next generation intrigues me.

⭐ MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS – Ava is Jackson’s daughter, seems much younger than 24 because unlike some of the other “second generation” books I’m reading, this MC generation seems to be completely sheltered & innocent. That is unexpected & a little unfortunate. Since the first two books in this series are about daughters I would have liked to see a wild side. When Ava is captured in order to get to her father Ava goes off the deep end, nightmares of being captured, sees the death in her nightmares, can’t work, drinks a lot, even tries drugs. The book starts off with some much promise when hot detective Lucas Black finds Ava bloody & battered alone breaking down on the sidewalk & decides to take her under his wing. He calls her kid, annoying since he is barely over 30, but he has experienced some major pain in his life too & sometimes he tries to save Ava, other times he tries to keep his distance. Hello, he’s a cop, has been investigating Hell’s Knights MC to find his wife. Yes his wife! I think the last half of the book fizzled for me. I felt this deep connection growing between Lucas & Ava and then it just dulled. He is all alpha male & sexy & broody & demanding but I didn’t find the loving side of him until the end.

⭐ I love it when authors find a way to keep their beloved characters alive long after their series has finished and create a new series that brings new characters into the limelight. Bella Jewel has created a new series that features the children of the Sinners MC. Their stories are completely different from their parents. Their lives and friendships have been influenced by their parents positions in the MC but they have managed to carve out their own individuality and life.MC Sinners Next Generation Series can be read as a stand alone series or after the MC Sinners series. Either way, the reader will become engrossed in these dynamic characters lives. Pandemonium is the first book in this new series.Ava has been the princess of the Sinners MC. With her father being the president and her brother in law the vice president, she is royalty. She was born into the life but was protected from the violent business side. Now that she is an adult she is fiercely demanding her independence. She wants to make her own destiny in life outside of the MC.She has a good job at a busy law firm. She has her own apartment. She pays her own bills. She dictates her own schedule. There are times when her father’s world bleeds over into her world. She has learned to be cautious, exercise safety, and keep silent about the club’s activities. When one of her father’s enemies abducts her and forces her to become a part of something that will destroy her, it crumbles the new life she has worked so hard to build. It destroys her confidence, her inner strength, and her ability to cope. She keeps this locked deep within her soul, she does not want her family or friends to feel responsible for her downfall. There is only one person that understands what she is going through. That person is also one of her father’s enemies. He is a different kind of enemy and a much stronger threat than the corrupt enemies in her father’s world. He is a cop with a vendetta against the MC Sinners. One wrong revelation could destroy her father and his world. But he is also a man that understands devastation to the soul.Lucas has been through hell and back. He has never really recovered from the tragedies that set his life on the path he’s following now. The MC Sinners had a small hand in his life’s destruction and he has been trying to bring them down. When he finds out the beautiful young woman that he rescued is the president’s daughter, it puts him in a peculiar position. He wants to help Ava find herself once again and not become a damaged soul like he is. He wants this beautiful woman to find her strength. He wants her to have faith in herself. On the other hand she is a source of information that could bring down the club. She is his ticket for revenge for the destruction of his family.~~~The choices are not black and white. The perceptions of what happened aren’t completely accurate. The MC Sinners are not the evil foes he once believed them to be. As Ava’s downfall spirals out of control, Lucas and the MC Sinners may find they have more in common than they thought. They may have the same enemy. The most important thing for both Lucas and the MC Sinners is that Ava heals and becomes the woman she was meant to be. Her soul is on the line. They will all have to show her that love can conquer anything.Bella Jewel did a magnificent job writing this book. The terrifying emotional journey that Ava had to travel was very real. The heartbreak that Lucas had to experience was devastating. Jackson’s frustration of being a parent and not being able to help his child was heartbreaking. Finding love in an ugly situation was exalting.Pandemonium was an emotional page turner that kept me captive to the last word.

⭐ 4.5 starsI fell in love with this author’s writing as soon as I read the MC Sinners series, devouring each one as soon as it was available. Then I went through a bit of a slump with some of her more recent work, but when I heard about this new Next Generation series, I had to give it a shot. And I loved this first book just as much as the original series!Ava is the daughter of Serenity and Jackson, the president of the Hell’s Knights MC. Although she is technically the princess of the club, she has been sheltered from some of their business and is now trying to explore life outside the confines of the compound. Unfortunately club business bleeds into her life in a terrifying and tragic fashion, leaving Ava a broken shell of the person she used to be.Detective Lucas Black finds Ava in a distressed state after her ordeal, and the broken pieces of his heart and life recognize the reflection of despair in Ava’s eyes. This is a man who lost everything and struggles to find a way to go on each day, but his experiences give him the ability to help Ava from being pulled completely under by the guilt and nightmares. Despite his best intentions, he finds himself taking more than a passing interest in her well being and becomes the person she trusts most to help her through the crushing darkest moments.Jackson doesn’t want to consider any man going near his daughter, but when the man he finds in her house is a cop, it’s not a good thing. And it just gets worse because Lucas has investigated the MC in an attempt to find information on his missing wife who disappeared over a year ago after last being seen at the clubhouse – a tidbit he failed to mention to Ava. Jackson flips, Lucas lays out Ava’s struggles that she has been hiding from her family, blows are traded and pandemonium ensues with Ava running out on all of them.Despite everything, Ava has fallen for Lucas and the feeling is mutual. A scene where he takes on a few jealous catty housewives defending Ava is beautiful alpha male eloquence that had me swooning for him HARD. Two broken pieces can fit together to make a whole, and although Jackson doesn’t like it, Ava has his strength and let’s him know in no uncertain terms that her man is her decision. Serenity kicks in a little information about their own relationship’s beginnings to help her daughter’s case to her father, and an uneasy truce is called between the men with excellent timing. Lucas’s past comes back to make an impact and the danger to Ava roars back to the forefront.I loved seeing my favorite characters from the original series years into their HEAs and I can’t wait to find out more about the other MC kids that were introduced in this book. They are all college age and above, and with Ava and Lucas at 24 and 30 respectively, this story dealt with issues at more of an adult level. Ava had a certain level of innocence but her upbringing contributed to a slightly savvier outlook than some her age although the circumstances of her ordeal caused her to finish growing up more quickly than most too. All in all, I thought Pandemonium was a great start to a new series and I am already eagerly awaiting the next book!

⭐ I didn’t think I could love anything better than Bella Jewel’s MC Sinners series, but I was definitely wrong with this book.Ava is the daughter of Jackson, president of the MC, and is trying hard to make it on her own and be independent. When she finds herself in danger from the enemies of the club, the one man to save her ends up being Lucas, a cop.Everyone knows bikers and cops don’t mix and I loved seeing how much Jackson and Lucas fought to be the one Ava needed. Jackson made me fall in love even more with him because I loved seeing his emotions in this book more than ever before. Lucas was amazing and knew that even though Ava was related to the MC that it didn’t stop him from getting what he wanted, even after the tragedy he had suffered in his life. My heart just broke for Lucas and everything that poor man endured. There were a few unanswered questions that left me wanting an explanation for and that is why I can’t give a 5 star. I am so excited to see the rest of the ‘kids’ of the club’s story and I enjoyed how well their parents are blended in with their story and that they are not just an afterthought. I can’t wait to see more of this series.

⭐ “I’m risking everything doing this. It’s wrong for more reasons than one.” “Then why are you here?” “Because I’ve seen the pain in your eyes in my own before, and I know how it f***in’ feels.”As a big fan of The MC Sinners series, I could not be ecstatic about this new series from Bella Jewel. And let me tell you, this series does not disappoint. In fact, it exceeded my expectations! I’m not going to say too much about this book because I don’t want to spoil it for you. But, here’s what I am going to tell you: Fans of The MC Sinners series, this is a MUST read!! This book is intense. It is gritty. It is sexy. It has drama and angst. There is also no shortage of action. This book has everything that I want in a biker book. I loved every single second of it and could not stop myself from devouring this book.I absolutely loved Lucas and Ava. It was so easy to get lost in the two of them. Their stories just pulling at my heart. The two of them are from totally different worlds and should have in no way been together. But the moment that you do see them together, you can’t stop yourself from wanting more. Their chemistry is explosive. Lucas is 100% alpha male and will make you heart swoon at the same time. I honestly couldn’t get enough of the two of them together. Lucas and Ava entered each others life at just the right time. They were both so broken and I loved seeing them come together and bring light into each others lives.Pandemonium was a fabulous read from start to finish. It pulled me in instantly and captivated me the entire time. It made me fall in love with biker books all over again and it reminded me of why I loved the original series so much. Speaking of the original series, fans of The MC Sinners will be stoked to see a lot of familiar faces that make their way into this story. I honestly can’t say enough about this book. I just loved it. It was exactly the book that I was looking for. This new series is off to a fantastic start and I can not wait to get my hands on the next book!

⭐ I love MC romances and this had a nice mix of romantic suspense, some steamy scenes, and well-developed main and secondary characters. As the daughter of the Prez, Ava is a Club Princess and Daddy is very protective. No club Prez wants their daughter seeing a cop, especially not one looking into the club’s business. Lucas is lost and broken after a tragedy in his life, but Ava needs his strength after one of her own, that haunts her in her sleep and just won’t go away.

⭐ Loved this story of Ava and Lucas! Ava is the daughter of the President of the Hell’s Knights MC. Lucas is a cop. Ava is out living on her own and making her way. One night she is abducted. Beaten and driven to make a choice, she is dumped on the side of the road and told to give her father a message. Lucas finds her and takes her to the hospital. Ava keeps the most horrific part of her abduction to herself, afraid to tell anyone in her family what truly happened. Because she keeps this in, her life starts spiraling out of control. Lucas recognizes the signs of her spiraling, as he has a few secrets and black moments in his past. Lucas is there to help pull her out and tries to get to the truth of what really happened. Suspense, angst, sadness….Ms Jewell keeps us turning the pages! Great spin off series to the MC Sinners series!

⭐ Ava and Lucas…..deep sigh……I LOVED Bella Jewel’s first works ..her first three books were my absolute favorite…so when I heard she was going to do a series about the kids…WOW!Ava is Jackson’s daughter, and she has a life altering event that happens to her because of the club….Lucas is the one that saves her from herself. The big elephant in the room is that he is a cop.Yes who in the world thought that we would see her end up with a cop?Bella writes great Alpha Heroes, and Lucas is no exception. He will stand up to the toughest alphas (the MC and Ava’s dad) for to make sure his woman is ok.As with all Bella stories, there is suspense and danger mixed in with a sweet over the top possessive alpha hero that falls hard for his woman.I LOVE that we see a glimpse of where all of our favorite characters are today. With this book, I feel like the Bella Jewel stories I fell in love with are BACK!
