⭐ Let me first say that I LOVED book one of this series. I truly enjoyed this one as well, but I will say that there were a couple of things that held me back from giving a full 5 star review on this second installment. I was incredibly happy that we were out of the under 18 years for one and I was also extremely excited that other characters were becoming involved in the main story to some degree because I felt like it gave the story some added depth and made Kira and Brendan more real. I also have to say that Kira’s reaction to Brayden’s realizations actually made my heart sing because I wanted to be able to see her as more than a lovesick little girl and now I can. However, there were a few hangups for me as well. One of those hangups was that I felt like Kira went from being a decent human being to almost being an evil, hateful person with what she was determined to do to herself and Brayden. Personally, I just don’t think that she can truly be that type of person so her hot and cold, tantrum like behavior became problematic for me. I would have felt differently if there had been a hint of how she was actually dealing with her problems and emotions rather than it seeming like she was just being hateful about all of it. Overall, a very good book and a great continuation of the story.*Reviewed for Kolleen’s Book Obsessions*

⭐ This was a wonderful continuation of the Need series. Brayden has hurt Kira so many times over the years. He didn’t feel he had a choice and at times thought he was doing the right thing. He has loved Kira for years and he knew she was meant for him but with his father marrying her mother and her age and everything he just didn’t think they could be together. But he’s realized that even though he has fought it that it hasn’t changed anything for him, he still loves her and wants to be with her. So he has decided to transfer college so he can go to the same school as her and start fighting for her. But Kira isn’t really ready or willing to give him another shot at breaking her heart.Kira has loved Brayden for so long but she’s tired of letting him hurt her over and over again. She’s had enough and she’s not willing to give him another chance. She’s ready to move on with her life and she’s turning 18 and about to go off to college and she’s hoping to start anew. Her mind and body fight over Brayden, her mind knows that she can’t trust him but her body still wants him.She does everything she can to not let Brayden hurt her again but her body fights her and proves that she wants him.Brayden has made many, many mistakes. He especially knows that he has hurt Kira over and over again. He loves her and he wants to be with her but he thought he was doing the right thing by keeping them apart. But he can’t take it anymore, he loves Kira and he needs to be with her. So he is on a mission to prove to her that they belong together. Even though he has one year left in college and then graduate school, he transfers to the college Kira will be attending. He can’t stand to be apart from her. Even though it hurts, he lets her treat him terribly to try to make up for the past.Definitely worth reading and now I have to wait for the next book in this series about Brayden and Kira.

⭐ Kira and Brayden’s story continues in Take. It took some getting used to–I have no siblings, let alone step-siblings, and I’m not so convinced that the topic is as taboo as we’d like to think. But then, I’m not the moral police or an attorney either. So, I’ll go to the characters. She’s just turned 18, he’s almost 21. His philandering divorced dad married her widowed mother just as Kira and Brayden decided to try dating as younger teens. At the time, he was almost 18 and maybe too old for her by law, and then that step-sibling thing gets in the way. But they are teenagers, so of course, this book is going to be driven by hormones on both sides of the gender line. That’s the good thing about this series, the authors keep in mind the lives of teenage and young adults and what they think about–alot. And they also put the two of them in a situation that just stinks–for both of them and for her mother as his dad remains the jerk he had always been. I waited a long time for this book to release because the story is compelling. Yes, read Need first to get the flow of the books, and leave your adult card at the door. Get ready to get angry on their behalf, and to be angry with each of them for one thing or the other. It is a ride that now has me on edge for book three.

⭐ Wow. Once again, our main characters Brayden and Kira DO NOT disappoint!! I am so in love with this series, I devoured this book. Book 1 was amazing, and just when I thought it could not get any better, book 2 exceeds all expectations and completely ROCKED!!I love the determination of Brayden to prove to Kira that she is his one and only. Never giving up for his woman. This book is seriously so freaking HOT!! I LOVE me some book boyfriend who is so in love, possessed, obsessed, jealous, determined, and so utterly head over heals for their girl that they would literally move heaven and earth to make them happy – and holy crap, Brayden has definitely moved to my #1 book boyfriend spot!Can’t wait for book 3 to come out!!! I hope the wait is not too long. Looking forward to hopefully seeing any walls built up by Kira to all be crushed down by Brayden, finally putting a label on their relationship in the next book. Of course some twists and turns enevitable for good book reading, but I love seeing relationships that can withstand all the trials regardless of what blows come their way, always remaining true to each other.Again, this series has been nothing but AMAZING thus far. Anyone who has not read it yet, I promise it will not disappoint. If any readers give a low rating, trust me when I say to disregard, because they must be off their rocker!! 🙂

⭐ I could not put this book down! It picks up right where Need left off.Brayden has become an almost creepy stalker but he is actually just a love sick puppy. I can’t help but love him. Unfortunately he is a dumb#ss man and made some stupid mistakes but for some pretty honorable reasons.Kira is stubborn as hell and full of anger but not without reason.She frustrates me, damn the girl can hold a grudge and refuses to give in to what her heart wants.This couple takes sexual tension to a whole different level. They still have the game of almost but not quite sex going on and it gets pretty damn hot. When they finally connect Oh. My. Goodness I needed a cold shower.Braydon is determined to get his girl, he truly loves her. She is HIS whether she is ready to admit it or not. (This is where the stalker tendencies show)Kira is hurt deeply and wants to use him, like a personal dildo. (her words not mine). She sure is good at walking that tightrope between love and hate but she is bound to fall.The wait for next book may kill me. That ending holy crap what is going to happen now?

⭐ I couldn’t wait to put my hands on this book. I needed more Brayden and oh boy.. did I ever get it!!I don’t think I can put into words what this book did to me.. so much angst.. at times I was begging for a shift cause I wasn’t sure my heart could take it!!!Kira is still very mad and hurt..Brayden might have changed his mind but she can’t let herself trust him and what he says he feels.She is torn in different directions, her mind, her body and her heart all want different things.She can enjoy the high he gives her but can she trust his feelings as well as her own??This story is so hot..jeez.. I am madly in love with Brayden!!!As always, there are a couple of people I really want to hurt..but Kira’s friends are epic!!!The end.. oh my.. it’s not that bad of a cliffy cause these authors gave us a lot.. but there’s still a way to go and can’t wait for more!!!

⭐ N Isabelle Blanco and K l Lynn outdid themselves with this one. Need (part one in the series) ruined me but Take slayed me. This series is beyond addictive. Kira and Braytons’ sexual chemistry is straight fire. One scene in particular left me breathless. I seriously have *never* read sex like that. I would have had a cigarette if I was a smoker! lolNot only do the authors manage to highlight their physical chemistry, but the also do a wonderful job of portraying the depth of their emotional connection as well. Their love and the passion they felt for each other was so powerful that you could nearly feel it yourself as you progress through the novel.The ending left me longing for the next chapter in Kira and Brayden’s story. It’s due out later this year and I can hardly wait!! Honestly, I love, love, LOVE this book and these characters! Can someone tell me where I can find my own RL Brayden??This book is worth every penny that I spent. I highly recommend it!!

⭐ This book which I have been waiting what feels like forever for is hot! Brayden and Kira are explosive together. I love how Brayden is sticking to his word and really working for Kira and trying to let her know that he’s sorry and gonna work to make up for his mistakes. Kira is only 18 so she’s being very stubborn and a little immature when it comes to forgiving Braydon of course with the exception of using him and his body for sex. I really thought this was a great book and o gave nothing bad to say about it I just also thought it was the last book and we would finally find out if Braydon and Kira would get there hard earned HEA but we didn’t. We won’t know till book 3. Which is good and bad good because we get more explosive passion from the pair but bad because I’m scared about how long I will have to wait it seems like there was a big gap between book 1 and 2 and I’m praying that won’t be the case with book 3 I may go crazy! But seriously this series is so hot my kindle is overheating.

⭐ I was very impatiently waiting for Take. I had to know what Kira was going to do or feel for Brayden. Was she going to finally let go of the hurt and let him in or say good bye?Was she gonna grow up and stop acting like the spoiled teenager and causing fights between two men?Well, she still is in limbo on feelings. Sometimes, she still acts like the spoiled teenager.But she’s trying to grow up. She’s trying to let old hurts leave. She’s trying in all sense of the word. Even Brayden. He’s trying. He wants what his heart wants. And it’s Kira’s.I’m never very good at reviews but this book was so excellent. The last bit, ugh! It’s going to be a long wait for part three!

Powerful emotions run through this novel… anger, sadness, sympathy, aggravation…it’s a strong concoction. Now…how in God’s name am I suppose to wait for Book Three to come out
