Reviews from Amazon users, collected at the time the book is getting published on UniedVRG. It can be related to shiping or paper quality instead of the book content:

⭐ I thought this was a mystery, yet all I found was a “story” about a woman having sex ( or fantasizing) with everyone she meets. I didn’t finish this book due to the subject matter and complete lack of storyline

⭐ I have read many James Patterson books and this stays true to character as an easy read. The story was average at best and there was not much there as far as plot. If I had paid more than $0.99 for this, I would be even more disappointed. There was nothing that made this a page turner for me. The preview of the Women’s Murder Club was the best part of this book for me. I would not recommend purchasing this title.

⭐ Predictable plot, not up to James Patterson thrillers. The books where he has co-writers are not anywhere near the ones he writes himself. It did not meet my expectations in fact, I quit reading it after first third.

⭐ What can I say but WOW! This is not at all a “normal” James Patterson” book. I enjoyed it because it was a very quick, easy read, the story line was very intriguing but I wouldn’t have wanted it any longer.Depending on your views regarding random sex, it’s hard to say if you’d enjoy it, but I did.

⭐ Normally I devour the Bookshots. This read is my first experience with his Emily Raymond paring. This book is not so much another great read from James Patterson, which I expected, as a “how to” for women finding themselves by using men……really disappointed, would like my $3.99 refunded. I won’t rush to pick up another Patterson/Raymond combo.

⭐ Terrible…complete disappointment. I thought these BookShots were going to be the answer to me wanting to read, but not being able to find the time to read or staying committed to a book and actually finishing it. Doubt James Patterson had anything to do with these books other than put his name on the cover…that is my hope at least! Read 2 and donated them to Goodwill…could not pass this junk on to anyone I actually knew!

⭐ When I got divorced I also wanted to feel glamorous and desired, which caused me to want to change how I lived my life, but this character’s reaction feels pretty dangerous to me. More extreme than I would feel good about, but whatever floats your boat I guess. The important thing I guess is to get your confidence back. In any case, I could see this happening.

⭐ I have to say that the book was well written but t the storyline was just not believable (in my opinion).

⭐ This seemed tome a departure from the norm. Not really a murder mystery unless innocence was the victim. Very interesting in a weird way. Kept rewriting in my mind to the horrible murder of Jane. At least it kept my mind engaged. I liked it very much.

⭐ Terrible…normally I purchase all James Patterson’s books without thought. I was so very dissappointed in this one.Not worth the time.

Tribe: On Homecoming and Belonging by Sebastian Junger (Epub)

Decades before the American Revolution, Benjamin Franklin lamented that English settlers were constantly fleeing over to the Indians-but Indians almost never did the same. The most recent example of that attraction is combat veterans who come home to find themselves missing the incredibly intimate bonds of platoon life. The loss of closeness that comes at the end of deployment may explain the high rates of post-traumatic stress disorder suffered by military veterans today.
